painfully aware of the sensual tension enveloping them both. “Your behavior is utterly despicable! Any man who would use his position to try and force one of his female employees to sleep with him is beneath contempt!”
“No more so than a woman who uses her body to get what she wants!”
“Wade, I swear I never did such a thing!” she tried frantically. “I invited you here tonight to try and prove it to you. Since you refuse to believe the only evidence I have, you leave me no choice but to quit my job!”
“Suit yourself,” he rasped. “There are some pretty obvious benefits in the deal for you if you stay on at CompuDesign, but leaving the company’s not going to get rid of me. I know what I want, and every day that passes makes me more certain.” He relaxed slightly. “But you want your job.

    Admit it.”
She heard the absolute promise in his voice and sucked in her breath.
“You can’t hound me, Wade! I won’t have it!” she wailed.
“I’m not going to hound you, sweet witch,” he vowed, bending his head to find the hollow of her throat under the lacy collar of her blouse. “I’m going to make love to you. Every chance I get!”
Once more Elissa drew in her breath sharply, but this time for a different reason. Try as she would, and as dangerous as she knew it to be, she could not build up sufficient resistance to the overwhelming demand emanating from him. There was a fire on her skin everywhere his mouth descended, and he used his weight to force an intimate, electric contact against her hips.
Elissa had one brief moment of hope when he abruptly elevated himself for a few seconds, but the respite lasted only long enough for him to angle her more directly beneath him, and then she found herself crushed again into the cushions of the sofa.
“Wade! Please!” she begged as one of his hands began to explore her body with arousing hunger.
He silenced her protest with his mouth, fastening it on hers in carefully controlled ferocity that demanded entrance for the invasion of his tongue.
She lost the battle to keep him out when he used his teeth with delicate savagery on her vulnerable lip. She gasped at the implied pain which was not yet pain, and he used the short weakness in her defenses to taste the warm honey behind her lips.
Simultaneously with the unlocking of her mouth Wade’s hand closed possessively over her small breast, and she felt the tremor that went through both of them at the contact. Elissa sensed the rising tide of the assault and began to panic at her own inability to stem it.
There was need and demand and desire and promise in the way Wade’s fingers left her breast momentarily to seek the buttons of her blouse. His mouth slid moistly across hers, withdrawing from one conquered territory to search out another. He found it in the sensitive tip of her earlobe just as his probing fingers found the entrance to her blouse.
“Sweet witch,” he husked as he toyed luxuriously with the earlobe he had captured. “You’re so good at knowing what others need. You wouldn’t turn me away at the gate, would you? Not when I need you more than the others do.”
“You want too much,” she cried softly, despairingly as her buttons gave beneath his efforts. The front clasp of her bra was soon dealt with, and then her flesh tingled unmercifully as he palmed the nipple he had been stalking.
“How could I want any less than all of you?” he demanded hoarsely. She shivered involuntarily and knew at once that he sensed it. Instantly, his fingertips tightened tantalizingly around the tip of her breast, coaxing forth the nipple as if luring a small creature from its burrow.
Elissa shut her eyes against the force of her own response, dazed at the impact he was having on her senses. Against her volition her hands freed themselves from where they had been wedged against his shoulders and went to the thick darkness of his hair. Cautiously at first and then with increasing urgency she
