take a break.
He’s the perfect man…strong, handsome, independent…he’s everything I’ve been looking for. Nothing wrong with taking things fast.
That fast though? You’ve known each other for less than a week, and you could possibly be having his child.
She shook away that fear. Angel focused on the work at hand. She pulled the cart along, dragging it to the barn then leaving it there. She huffed, wiping the sweat from her chest. She wondered where Grant was. He was gone for most of the day. Most likely he stewed over the night before.
Grant shoved open his front door. In his cowboy gear, and carrying rope in one hand, he approached. He had a sly grin on his face. Angel weakened from that grin. She thought she would hit the grass, her knees buckle underneath her. She froze in place, trying her best to remain standing straight and tall. She thought maybe a good day’s work would help her avoid having to go through his bondage lessons.
Last time, it made her wild with lust, but it scared her…she didn’t know how far it would go. And being so inexperienced, she wanted to clamor on him, hold onto him tight and have him tell her that everything would be all right.
Maybe a dinner and a movie? No.
    Grant doesn’t want that tonight.
He knows that I need more lessons.
The scary part is, I know I need more too.
I want to be his…it’s just, can I be? Can I go through all this? Can he make me his?
Angel knew he would try. She knew he would try his hardest to wrangle her under his control. He already had her heart, but he wanted more. He wanted everything.
Grant smirked even wilder as he approached. He took her by the hand, guiding her to the barn.
    “What’s going on?”
    “What do you think?”
“I did everything on the list,” she said. She made her eyes wide and bat her lashes at him, giving him the most seductive, sweet look, but it wouldn’t change his mind.
“Doesn’t matter. You still need to have the lesson. Especially after last night.”
    “What’s that supposed to mean?”
He pinned her against the barn wall.
“It means after last night, you’ve got to go through this. Wish there was another way, but there’s not.”
Angel didn’t understand. Why did he insist on the bondage? Why did he want her to be so submissive? He acted like there wasn’t any other way, and she believed him. He looked so serious when he said it. She didn’t quite understand why he insisted so much, but Grant and her had developed enough trust where she would go along with it. After all, she didn’t want to disappoint him.
    That thought scared her.
I’m falling for this man. I’m falling too fast for him.
“With me,” he said, and he took her to the soft tended grass in the back of the barn. He instructed her onto her knees. Once she would have protested getting dirty, but now Angel didn’t mind. She dropped at once.
He threw open the barn doors. Then he grabbed a saddle. He approached Angel. He raised her chin. He began to undress her.
His touch was spell binding. She couldn’t look away. Whatever he was doing to her, she complied, knowing better than to question him.
    “Arms up.”
He pulled her shirt off. Then he unclasped her bra. She held her breasts, hiding them, not from him, but feeling exposed out in the open. There wasn’t any sign of anyone else in the area, but still, she wasn’t used to being such an exhibitionist. What if someone walked by, just by chance?
“Take your hands away,” he said.
Angel took a hard gulp. “I-I-”
    “Off.”
    “Out here?”
He approached, and she thought he would give her a slap on her ass for her disobedience, but he took her lips, ravishing her with a slip of his tongue, then departing before she regained her composure. He snatched her wrists, then pulled.
    “Yes, out here,” he said.
    “What if someone walks by?”
“They won’t, but let me handle them if they do.”
He helped her onto her feet. Angel had to lean on his chest, secure
