either. She quickly rubbed her eyes, and told herself not to cry. “So much for the mating thing.”
Jason stood in front of the truck, staring at Tara. How could she not see how beautiful she was?
Mate crying. Jason’s bear butted its massive head against Jason’s chest.
    Stop that.
Mate crying. You are not making our mate happy. Make mate happy.
    Give me a minute.
    Make mate happy.
Jason shook his head. His bear was not telling him anything he didn’t already know. He adjusted his jeans again. He wanted Tara.  Jason moved around the side of the truck. He opened Tara’s door, picked her up.
Tara screamed when Jason jerked open the door and picked her up. “But me down before you hurt yourself.”
Jason put her down and closed the truck door.
“Don’t do that again. Are you trying to hurt yourself?” Tara was shocked. No one had ever lifted her out of a vehicle as if she weighed nothing.
“You are not heavy.” Jason reached down and tossed Tara over his shoulder.
Tara gasped. “Put me down! I’m going to hurt you.”
“Be quiet.” Jason smacked the round butt.
Tara yelped. No one had ever spanked her, not even her mom. “Put me down, you hard headed Neanderthal.”
“I said be quiet.” Jason smacked the other round butt cheek.
Tara’s bottom jaw dropped. He spanked her again, but this time his hand was still on her rear. The slow circular pattern he made sent a shiver of desire up her spine.  She closed her mouth. This wasn’t happening! She shook her head. There had to be something wrong with her. The spanking turned her on.
Jason climbed the steps leading to the porch. He unlocked the door and went inside, pausing just long enough to close and lock the back door.
“It would be a lot easier if you would put me down.”
    “Be quiet.”
“Put me down and maybe I will be quiet.”
Jason swatted her curvy bottom causing her to yelp. “That’s for talking.” He swatted her bottom again. “That’s for lying.” He caressed the spot he had swatted.
Tara moaned. Her pussy wept in anticipation.
Jason sniffed the air and grinned.
Want mate now. She wants us. Jason’s bear sat up and pawed the air.
We have to get her upstairs first .
You too slow. Jason’s bear butted against his ribcage.
You would scare her right now, Jason told his bear.
Mate is not scared of us. Mate love us.
Mate hasn’t seen that part of us yet.
    She loves us anyway.
Jason chuckled. He took two steps at a time.
Tara knew he was taking her to his bedroom. She wanted her Neanderthal, but she wasn’t going to make it easy for him.  Tara smiled. The second she was sure Jason was firmly on the second floor of the house, she sank her teeth into the small of his back.
Pain surged through Jason. He almost dropped Tara, but managed to hold onto her. The little minx bit me!
Told you mate like us. She marked us. We belong to her.
Guess it’s our turn to mark her. Glad I changed the sheets. Jason kicked open his bedroom door and dumped Tara into the middle of his big bed.
Tara rolled to the other side of the bed. Her feet hit the floor two seconds later. She turned and stared at Jason.
“You bit me,” he said as he twisted to see the wound.
“It’s your fault. I told you to put me down, but instead of doing that, you picked me up and spanked me. Not even my mother spanked me.” She crossed her arms. “Get out of here.”
“I’m not going anywhere. This is my bedroom.”
    “Fine, then I’ll leave.”
Tara hadn’t even gone two steps when suddenly Jason stood in the doorway, blocking her only exit out. “You’re not going anywhere. We’re going to finish what you started.”
    “I didn’t start anything.”
    “You marked me as yours.”
“I didn’t mark you. I just…” Tara didn’t finish her sentence. She closed her eyes and groaned. How could she have been so stupid? She bit him. In the shifter world, she had just marked her mate. “That’s not what I meant.”
    Jason grinned.
