could get too mad about it.
No, the most annoying thing was that every time they decided to try and put the moves on my wife, where "put the moves" is defined as knocking a football, beach ball, Frisbee, into the sand right in front of us so they could have a chance to hopefully exchange a couple of words with Lindsay, it also ended up kicking sand all over us. Talk about annoying. And the tactic didn't even work since I usually handled all the talking.
But the most annoying part was that I couldn't use that as a way to win the bet even though it was painfully obvious to me that the whole reason those guys were doing it was so they could get close to my wife. I had a feeling she had that same sneaking suspicion, but the terms of the bet were the terms of the bet and she wasn't going to back down from that one-sided agreement.
    Damn it.
"If all those guys stopping by are annoying you then why don't we go out for a swim?"
I sighed. It's not like there'd be much chance for me to win the bet when we were out in the water but at the same time I was eager to be away from all these assholes showing off for my woman.
"That sounds like a good idea."
I glanced around our towels, but the only thing that we had to secure was Lindsay's suntan lotion. If somebody wanted to run off with our hotel towels then they were welcome to them. I had our cash and IDs tucked safely away in a waterproof container tied to the inside of my swim trunks where nobody could get at them and they weren't going to be damaged by water. As I looked out across the waves crashing over people who were squealing in delight I figured a nice dip in the saltwater was going to hit the spot.
Besides, as worked up as I was thinking about all these guys checking out my wife I could do with a little bit of cooling off.
The waves weren't bad at all as we waded out into the ocean. No, the real danger was from all the people crowding around. Maybe I was wrong about the water not presenting an opportunity to win the bet. There were the same jackasses doing stupid stuff trying to impress girls, and there were girls splashing and generally acting like jackasses as well. Water plus drunkenness usually wasn't a good combination, and it meant you had to watch yourself to avoid getting bowled over on top of worrying about the waves doing the same.
"It's pretty crowded out here!" Lindsay said as we made our way through the press of bodies.
"I suppose that's the price we pay for coming to a popular vacation spot in the middle of summer," I said.
The rest of our conversation was interrupted though. I caught a flash of movement out of the corner of my eye and then somebody was barreling straight towards Lindsay. I didn't even have time to get in between the blur and my girl before the blur resolved into a slightly overweight guy who tumbled right into her. My eyes narrowed as I saw what else he did as he got close to my wife.
It looked like he was reaching out to try and steady her, but in the process of steadying her I noticed that the parts of her anatomy he decided to grab onto for steadying included her tits and her ass. I scowled at him and he looked over, realized we were together, and quickly disappeared back into the crowd.
And despite how pissed off I was at that quick run and grab disguised as a stumble, I also had to admit that my cock twitched seeing a guy grabbing Lindsay like that. Running his hand along her body. Apparently my cock didn't care what the circumstances were, all it cared about was that it was fucking hot knowing a guy was that turned on by my wife, that a guy was touching her like that. I reached out a hand to help steady her and she turned to look at me with a disbelieving blink.
    "What just happened there?"
"I think I just won the bet babe," I said as I pulled her out to deeper water. It got to the point where she was having trouble keeping her head above the water and so I pulled her towards me. She wrapped her legs around me down below and her
