Baby, Don't Go (Yeah, Baby Book 3)
murmured as he pulled me tight. “I should have admitted it to myself two years ago. If I had, then you’d be pregnant with our second or third child by now.”
Resting my head against his chest, I laughed softly. “It’s hard to know what would have happened if either of us had made a move back then, but I love that we had two years to get to know each other the way we did.”
“You’re happy about the baby, then?” he asked, a hint of vulnerability in his tone.
“I’m so happy.” Three little words but they held a depth of meaning, intended to clear away the doubt I’d instilled within this amazing man who loved me.
“Happy enough to marry me tomorrow?”
I laughed, thinking he was joking until I caught the look of utter seriousness on his face. I had no doubt he’d find a way for us to exchange our vows tomorrow if I agreed, but I didn’t hesitate to give him my answer. “Yes, honey.”

Epilogue
Jack
I gently placed my infant son in his crib, running a hand through his soft, feathery hair. Eric was a quiet baby and was already sleeping through the night. Turning on the monitor, I went into the hall and pulled the door so it was almost shut. I’d already tucked in my sweet little two-year-old, Addy, so I padded down the hall to the den where my beautiful wife was stretched out on the couch, watching a movie. Making a beeline for her, I lowered myself down so my body covered hers.
“I do believe both of our kids are asleep, Dr. Halston,” I whispered as I began to nibble on her ear. “Whatever will we do with this time alone?”
Ellie tilted her head back, giving me more access to her neck, and I placed hot, wet, open-mouthed kisses down to the valley between her tits. She was wearing a loose tank and the neckline gaped so I hooked a finger in the fabric and tugged it down. I groaned at the sight of her naked tits, fuller from two kids and nursing our son. I licked around one before taking it into my mouth.
I bit the tip lightly and she gasped, every muscle in her body freezing, before she started shaking. I lifted my head, surprised she’d come so fast. However, her face wasn’t lost in ecstasy. Nope, she was laughing, her mouth pinched as she tried to keep quiet.
“If I wasn’t so secure in my ability to make you come, this could be a pretty big blow to my ego, baby.”
She snickered and pointed behind me. “What were you saying about the kids being asleep?”
I levered myself up onto my elbows and twisted to look back.
A pillow was floating through the door, or at least, it looked as though it was. Really, it had two little feet, just barely visible underneath the large pillow. Small, delicate fingers grasped the edges and it was moving slowly, hesitantly.
I smiled in exasperated amusement. Addy had reached the stage where she was like an ostrich sticking their head in the sand. She seemed to believe if she couldn’t see us, we couldn’t see her.
“Addy,” I said sternly. The pillow jerked and lowered, revealing her big brown eyes. They were open wide, shocked at having been discovered. It was adorable as fuck. My kids were the cutest, I didn’t care what Wyatt said. I loved my nieces and nephews, but come on, my daughter was a fucking knockout.
    “Back to bed, sneaky.”
Her wide chocolate eyes filled with tears and I looked at Ellie frantically. She raised a brow and stared at me challengingly. Shit. I forgot about our bet. Ellie was convinced I couldn't hold firm with my baby girl when she cried. It was ridiculous. I was man enough to deal with her tears without caving.
I narrowed my eyes and glared at her, my heart starting to crack with the little sniffles coming from behind me. I took a deep breath and steeled myself against the overwhelming desire to scoop her up and give her anything and everything she wanted.
Pulling up Ellie’s shirt, I climbed off of her and faced my Addy, crumbling at the sight of the big, fat tears rolling down her face. I swiftly moved to her
