“High school?” I asked.
He squeezed my hand. “Senior year.”
“Did you guys break up? Did she break up with you?”
“No.”
“Then, what is it? Why would a girlfriend from seven years ago make you swear off relationships?”
Jaxon looked up at me, the storm in his eyes turned to a solid black cloud. “I killed her.”
