were out of there.  I’d even discussed my brother with them before meeting them, and they were all like... ‘no problem!’
No fucking problem?  I call bullshit!  I fucking call bullshit!   They were after one thing and one thing only!  No connection, no understanding, not there for me... only there for their cocks.  Of course there was no problem, because they weren’t planning on sticking around that long.
I fucking hate men like that!

But right now, it’s a Monday, and I just finished my morning shift, so I’m off to the gym.
Since I finish at 3:3 0pm when I do morning shift, I go to the gym for an hour afterwards.  Silas doesn’t finish work till 4:00pm, so by the time I finish here; we’ll both be home around the same time, before he goes back out to do his thing.  On the days I do afternoon shift, I come in the morning for an hour.  I’ve been doing this since February, to build up my core strength and feel like a 25 year old should again.
The gym is small, which is why I like it ; it’s also pretty old school, and a lot of the clientele are your average type of resident for this area... not shiny and posh, which of course appeals to me immensely.  In addition, I get on pretty well with the guy that runs this place too.  He sorted out a personal workout regime for me, and often comes over to talk to me when it’s quiet.  He’s nice, but he’s married; and he might be a bit of a flirt, but he’s not gone there, thank God! I don’t want to be in a three way relationship... that will never happen again!
I still feel guilty about the Graeme and Scott thing ; I wonder whatever happened to them?
But Paul ’s good value, because if I get hassled by any guy, and I get riled up... he doesn’t get mad at me for putting them in their place.  He’ll just stand back watching me tear strips off the arsehole, with his arms folded, and then ask them to leave if they aren’t members.  If they are members, he’ll ask them to reconsider their actions before approaching me again.  He’s like my personal bouncer when it looks like the shit is gonna get ugly.
I’m heading out of the women’s locker room and walking towards the cardio section; p lacing the buds of my iPod in my ears; when I’m shoulder barged by someone walking out of the men’s locker room.
The action sees me punch myself in the side of the head.
    “Watch it!” I demand.
“Sorry!” the guy says, rushing toward the cardio room.  He doesn’t seem sorry at all!  Another arsehole . I huff, before continuing on my way to the cardio machines.
Arsehole is in there, already punching his speed in on the treadmill.  Unfortunately there are two treadmills, so despite my irritation at the arsehole for barging into me, I can’t get angry at him for taking the machine I prefer, just because it isn’t stuck in the corner. I just have to get on with my scheduled workout.
I hop on the other treadmill and begin my five minute warm up jog.  I look up intermittently, and the arsehole is staring at me while he’s sweating it out on his treadmill.  He grins, but all I do is raise my eyebrows and look back down.  He may be a damn fine looking guy, with his short, light brown hair and steel grey eyes; muscles pumping and incredible six pack covering a slim tapered torso and hips; cheeky grin with dimples; and height greater than mine by a couple of inches, but he’s a shoulder barging arsehole!  I suppose he has a picture of his cock on his laptop waiting to be emailed to his next willing victim... I wonder what that one looks like!  I smirk.
And then I remind myself that I’ve decided that I’m still not past the ‘Jade looks after Silas not herself’ barrier to continue trying to put myself out there.

    Ben.
Damn , I didn’t get a good look at her when I accidentally barged into her; even when I turned and said sorry, because I’m on limited time here. I have to get back to my Mum before she gets up and needs
