and reached his hand out the window for Xanaâs necklace.
âIâll call you tonight, Jaz,â Marius said, then they left the hospital with Marius driving like a speed demon as the sky grew lighter and lighter and the horizon exploded in a beautiful display of pinks and oranges.
Xana cringed. âDamn, weâd better hurry.â
Â
Xana woke naked on the bed, her hands and feet tied once again to the bedposts and Mariusâs head nuzzled between her breasts gently kissing and licking. She didnât know whether to be annoyed or excited. Several candles burned around the room, filling the air with the subtle scent of vanilla.
âYouâre awake,â Marius said, and reached for a feather lying on the bedside table.
âYou are incorrigible,â she murmured as the sensation of wispy softness moved across her skin and sent tingles cascading through her.
âThatâs what Iâve been told.â He circled her nipple with light feathery strokes.
âWhere are my clothes?â she asked on a quick inhale of breath.
âI tossed them. They were filthy.â
âYeah. Well, theyâve been through a lot.â She moaned as he moved the feather between her legs.
âOf course, you have, too. Perhaps youâve been tied up enough for one day?â He started to rise.
âGet back here,â she said, pulling on her binds as she tried to reach for him.
Â
He bent down and kissed her deep, his tongue doing an erotic dance with hers. âAre you sure? Maybe youâve had enough of me?â
âThere are parts of you I havenât even begun to explore,â she said, her voice low and breathy.
âI might be a little hard to take. Iâm known to be demanding. Some might even say, controlling.â
âTrue. But Iâm certain thereâs a lot more to you and Iâm willing to spend some time figuring you out.â
âEven a monster like me?â
She smiled. âI think Iâve learned a little more about monsters than I knew before.â
He kissed her deeply, stealing her breath, then moved the feather down her body, doing things with it she didnât even know could be done. She gasped a deep breath as fire shot straight to her core, melting her into a puddle of wanton desire.
âIâve learned some things, too,â he said.
âOh, yeah,â she said on a breathy moan.
âYeah. Kittens can be fun. I think Iâll keep you.â
âWell, watch out, baby. I bite.â
