    Chapter 15
     
         I slowly exhaled as I gathered Eliana in my arms.  I had told her that I loved her, and she had told me that she loved me also.  Her culture was so different from mine.  One male and one female, and if I bed another female then she would leave.  I would have to be very careful and stay away from Tula.  I had been miserable last night without Eliana, and didn’t want to go through that again.  I felt like my heart had been ripped out of my chest.

As I stood there looking down at her, I realized I had never seen anything more beautiful in my entire thirty cycles.  I stripped off my clothes, then started trailing kisses down her neck.  I could feel her shivering.
