participated in training classes or put on demonstrations of special equipment or BDSM techniques for the members.  They also took turns as dungeon monitors, or DM’s, and looked out for the safety of the members and enforced the rules of The Club.  The clubs managing owners were Dex and Sean who had oversight of all club operations.  Similar to a board of directors, the owners convened monthly to review potential applicants, disciplinary actions for probation or rule violations, and made major decisions related to expansion, new equipment and planned special events.
    Most nights were for the BDSM membership but Dex and Sean had also branched out recently and started a weekly LGBT night, a monthly swingers night, and a D/s munch to attract new members.  They also had an open sub night monthly where new and experienced submissives were invited to participate in a meet and greet with the membership.  This provided unattached members an opportunity to meet new subs and also helped grow the membership.
    The new activities had been so successful that they were rapidly approaching their target capacity of a hundred members and would soon have a waiting list.  It also meant that The Club was packed most nights.  They were currently looking into expansion.  Members came from across the country to experience the safe, sane and consensual type of play practiced at Club Decadence.  Unlike public clubs, they offered the higher levels of security that their exclusive membership demanded.  This was of greatest importance to the celebrities and politicians whose privacy concerns were a crucial matter.
    By the time Rick and Regan, arrived the Christmas celebration was in full swing.  Each sub was provided with an elf hat in keeping with the spirit of the season.  The Doms had decided that instead of clichéd mistletoe, the rule for the evening was that any sub caught without their requisite elf hat would have to submit to either a kiss or a spanking from their Dom or the one who discovered the violation.  Ten swats on the bare was the order of the day.  There were no restrictions placed on the kissing other than it had to be on the mouth.  This G-rated rule disappointed many of the members.
    The evening began in the lounge where they joined friends at a table near the stage.  The group included Tony and Megan, Master Peter and his wife Joanna, and Dex with his new sub Shelby.  The subs looked especially cute in their red and green elf hats.  The featured entertainment in the lounge was a local band featuring Elena Lopez, an old high school friend of Regan and Megan’s.  The Club was fortunate to have her considering she was extremely talented and had even performed professionally in the past. She was also Master Dex’s ex-fiancée. 
    Dex and Elena’s story was heartbreaking, and it was obvious that the wounds were still open and very raw.  Each had suffered greatly from their break up three years prior.  Neither looked as though they had moved on and it led to some awkward moments since she technically worked for him now.  Of course, that wasn’t Dex’s decision.  She had been brought in under contract by Master Sean while Dex was on a mission.  It had been an unpleasant scene when Dex returned from a mission a few months earlier to find his ex-fiancé working at The Club.  Somehow, Master Sean had persuaded Dex to let her continue mainly because of her popularity.  She packed in a crowd when she performed and had a local following which helped increase attendance on open sub nights or during special events. 
    All of their friends were rooting for the couple to reconcile but that didn’t seem to be in the cards.  Dex was topping someone the polar opposite of Elena who was unattached and seemingly content to focus on her career.  Dex’s new sub was a tall blonde, quiet and reserved.  She paled in comparison to the exotic Elena and lacked her special spark.  Her submissive behavior was above reproach, her
