with me. Come live here with me. Everything else we can figure out later. The only thing that matters is I know I can’t be apart from you. I don’t want that. Come live here please. Just try. If it doesn’t work for you, then we will figure out something else. ”
    “I want too.”
“Come here, be with me, live with me here. I promise till I die I will never leave you. I risked my life for you. Does that not show you that this is forever? I am yours forever and you are mine.”
I sat in silence. He rescued me, my Navy Seal lover. I replayed that scene in my head. Me feeling frantic that I was going to be lost out at sea forever and die out there. Then seeing him run to the house and then run back and dive into the ocean. His face hard with determination stroke after stroke as he swam to me fighting the ocean to get to me like the Navy Seal hero he was.
That was it. I knew what I had to do.
“Yes, I will stay here. I will move here with you.”
Alejandro didn’t say anything. He scooped me up as he had done on our first night together.  He threw me on the bed. I laughed as I bounced off the mattress.
A month later I was settled into his beach house on the oceanfront and was getting used to his comings and goings on special covert operations for the Navy. I made friends with some of the Navy wives and found a travel magazine to write for. It was all coming together and I couldn’t believe that this was now my life. I had come to Puerto Rico heart broke and trying to pull myself together. Then I met this Latin Navy Seal who saved me in more ways than one. He saved me from heartache and he saved me out at sea. I felt safe with him and our new life together.

CHAPTER ONE
I was very annoyed when my mother remarried another man because this meant that I would have to go visit her far away in Europe where he lived. One the plus side he was a real estate billionaire that had acquired lots of land and my mother was able to send money to help me out as I struggled through my crappy job. She had been married a month now and she pleaded for me to come try life with them for a while. She mentioned they lived in his old estate in Germany and it had lots of room for me. It was outside a village that had not changed much since the medieval ages. Now she was forcing me to come spend the winter visiting her at the billionaire’s old estate to see if I liked life there. I think she thought that if I became more part of the family that he would give me lots of money or something. I loathed the idea of being in the country in an out of date village, as I was a modern city girl. I liked all the modern amenities of the city, and I didn’t like the thought of being in the isolation of the country or only having a small village nearby. However, that was not the real reason that I loathed going because after all who would refuse a vacation. What really bothered me was the way mother always talked about my weight and scolded me about it. I was a curvy girl with a full figure and round hips. I didn’t see it as a problem, but my mother always did and she always made that known. It was annoying and did not do much for my self-esteem. Being away from her made me feel good about my body, but once I was around her again it only took a few of her words to make me feel fat and unattractive. At least it was winter and snowing in the German village so that I could hide under layers of clothes. This would be better so that she could not scrutinize me so much. So I finally agreed to come out for while. I took a few weeks off of work for winter break. I packed and left my mundane apartment and life in the city and headed for the remote area of the mountains and forest of Germany.
After a long flight and then one more connecting flight, I arrived at the small airport where a black car was waiting for me, one of the perks of my mother marrying a billionaire I thought.
