through during all of their yesterdays.
CHAPTER SIX
Ella was hotter than she could ever remember being before, and she smiled before she’d even opened her eyes. Laying across Tyson’s chest after the best orgasms she’d ever experienced in her life was like using knock out drops, apparently. She didn’t recall another time where she’d fallen asleep right after sex… weren’t there jokes about people who did that?
She knew he was sleeping by the way his steady, even breathing made his chest rise and fall under her cheek. It was hard to see his face from the position she was in, and she wanted to look at him as he lay vulnerable and see how sexy he looked in his sleep, but she also wanted to go to the bathroom. The impulse buy to get this room had sprung out of the need to share her good news with him, and she couldn’t wait to get back to his place. Two hundred and seventy two thousand dollars. She didn’t think she’d ever seen that much money at one time that was legally hers. The moment it came to Tyson that she wanted to pay his debts with that money was one of the best things that had happened. Ella knew she didn’t have to do it, but then maybe Tyson would see that he meant something to her and know how sorry she was for lying to him about why she was introduced into his life.
She didn’t know how this was going to end, but she would try her hardest to stick with Tyson for as long as she could. They were good together. She wasn’t sure how he felt about it, and she didn’t feel comfortable asking him because now it may seem like she was saying he had to be with her because she’d gotten him out of a jam. Her thoughts must have been loud or maybe it was because she was staring at him so hard because his eyes popped open and he lay there looking at her.
“Good morning,” she said not knowing how to behave as she got caught staring at him.
“Is it morning?” he replied.
She really didn’t know if it were morning or not, but it was at least the middle of the night, because It was dark outside. Her phone was somewhere in the room, but she hadn’t wanted to get up and look for it when she woke to find Tyson looking like he needed to be explored. Ella stood up and enjoyed Tyson watching her walk across the room.
“It’s only midnight. I thought it was much later than that,” she admitted. Maybe they could go for another round of hot sex, take a shower, and order in. That sounded like something spectacular because she was starving.
“We have to get going,” Tyson got up and went into the bathroom but continued to talk to her from behind the door. “I have to see someone, and it may not be too late to do it tonight.”
“Do you have to do it now? We have a luxury hotel room, and we haven’t come close to getting our money’s worth.” Ella was trying not to pout, but she wanted more. They hadn’t really talked about what it was they were doing together, and as far as she knew, he could be ready to split from her as soon as he had his debts paid off. Not that she would blame him; being hooked up to a woman with a criminal past and a penchant for lying was probably not something he’d want for the long haul. She wanted to use the time they had together to make memories for when they were apart, which would probably be the rest of her life.
He came out of the bathroom, and he had made good with the supplies they had in there. Tyson walked over to where she sat slumped on the couch and sat down next to her.
“What’s the matter?”
Ella wanted to be happy-go-lucky and have the jovial outlook that Tyson was now wearing on his face, but she didn’t know if she could. The end was coming, and she was just feeling sad, but she would die before she would ask him to stay with her or try to find out what was going on in his mind.
“Nothing. I was just having a good time, and I wanted to enjoy this room a bit more, but I understand
