the bed for a few days if you proved to be difficult and I knew without the lure of coffee, I’d have a very hard time convincing you of anything.”
“Justin, really. When have you ever known me to be anything but docile and compliant?”
He pulled away slightly and looked down at her at the same moment she looked up at him. “Seriously?” The look she gave him was a very horrible interpretation of docile and compliant. She was more mischievous and full-of-imp inspiration and she wasn’t fooling him for a second.
“I’m very accommodating. I came here of my own free will, didn’t I?”
Really? She was going to bat her eyelashes at him? “Only after I showed you the rope and told you I’d tie you up until you said yes.”
“And yet you still tied me up in the back of the truck.”
Yes, he had. He couldn’t wait to tie her up again. The bright green rope against her pale skin and nearly same color as the lace of her bra… He couldn’t have planned that better if he’d known what she was going to be wearing. The way she moved within her bonds, the way the rope stretched and her muscles strained… She was the hottest woman and most of the time she didn’t even see it. “Don’t act as if you didn’t like it.”
She smiled and laid her head back to his chest. “Thank you for coming to get me, Justin.”
“Like I said before, you didn’t give me much choice.” Justin tightened his arms around her and nuzzled his face into her hair.
Going and getting her, making her understand that she was wanted and desired, that he needed her in his life was just the tip of the iceberg of what he needed to do to show her that she could lean on him, trust him to meet her halfway in life and not shut her out.
His Ella needed affection, needed romance, needed to be manhandled more than once in a while. She needed to be treated like a woman, strong and independent. She needed to be treated as a sexual fantasy come to life, a precious slut, a desired submissive. He could give her those things if she’d trust him enough to let him into more than just her body.
He felt her go limp against him, felt her soft breath even out against his skin and her hand relax against his stomach. She was sleeping. He’d waited months for this, for this moment when he could hold her in his arms again as she slept. Of course, he still had to go back outside and bring in her luggage and laptop bag, but overall, it was what he’d waited months for.
Sex with her for certain, time with her, talking with her, all of it, but holding her while she slept, holding her when she was the most defenseless and vulnerable, that’s what he’d wanted, what he felt she deserved.
He slowly slid his arm from under her neck and eased his body away from hers. A small whimper escaped her lips and a slight frown marred her brow, but she didn’t wake. For a split second he started to pick up his jeans, but why? He lived in the middle of nowhere. No one would see him unless they were trespassing on his property, and well, that’d be their own damn fault if they caught him in all his glory.
He took the stairs quietly and slipped on a pair of flip-flops before letting himself out the front door. The moon lit the yard and stable nearly as bright as day, and the stars winked in the night sky. He wondered if Ella had ever seen a sky as clear and dark as the Texas sky was right then? He’d take her out back tomorrow night and sit on the swing with her, hold her hand and just be there with her as she gazed up. She would love it. He had no doubt about that.
He opened the passenger door to the truck and grabbed her bags, careful not to bang either one against the front of his thighs, then set one down so he could shut the truck door with as minimal noise as possible. From the front seat, he got her purse and discarded clothes before gathering everything up again and heading to the house.
He left the laptop bag on the couch in the living room along with her
