walked up to Alex and
whispered something in her ear, making her blush.
The intro of Down with the Sickness turned her attention
towards the dark stage, the sexy sound of Mason’s gruff voice made her bite
down hard on her straw.
    Do you feel that…ohh shit…
The lights came on and there Mason was, dressed in nothing
but a pair of skin tight jeans. Corbin cinched her legs together tightly.
“Come on, let’s dance!” Stella yanked her arm. Corbin slid
off the bar stool and grabbed her drink. Stella pulled her through the crowd
and placed them directly in front of Mason. At first, Corbin just stood there
mesmerized by Mason’s movements on the stage. With a nudge from Stella she
began moving to the rhythm of the music. She kept her eyes on him, hoping to
make eye contact. She watched as he slid his hands down his body to his crotch.
He grabbed it and shook it at the crowd. When their eyes met he gave her a
wink, his jet black hair was gelled up into a wild mess, and his deep blue eyes
seemed to pierce her soul. The song ended and the crowd erupted into a roar.
Corbin stood in place, as if in a trance. She watched as he talked the crowd up
enjoying every movement his lips were making.
“Let’s go do a shot!” Stella said and once again pulled
Corbin through the crowd. On the way there Corbin saw Ryder talking with a
bunch of people. As she passed by, he looked her way. He gave her a sly smile
and raised his beer at her.
“Mason so checked you out tonight.” Stella raised an
eyebrow.
“Yeah, I guess.” Corbin shrugged and tucked a strand of hair
behind her ear.
“Don’t do that.” Stella removed the hair from behind her ear
and gave it a little fluff. Corbin, in turn blew the hair out of her eyes.
Stella rolled her eyes then ordered their shots. She handed Corbin hers then
raised her glass in the air.
“To new beginnings,” Stella announced. She clinked her glass
with Corbin’s then they downed their shots.
“Hey Moses, can I get a pack of Marlboro lights and a
lighter?” Corbin shouted. He gave her a nod then gave her the items she
requested.
“Do you want me to go outside with you?” Stella asked.
Corbin shook her head and made her way to the door.

RYDER WATCHED AS Corbin exited the
building, seeing no one follow her, he seized the opportunity in hopes to get
her alone. When he walked out the door he saw her standing with a couple of
younger girls. He turned to go back inside.
    “Ryder…” Corbin called.
    Shit
He walked to them. Corbin held her open pack of cigarettes
out to him. He took one and lit it.
“This is my cousin Brylee and her friend Mia. Girls, Ryder
James, lead singer of Infected Whiskey.” Corbin gestured to him. Ryder shook
the girls’ hands.
“Never heard of Infected Whiskey,” Brylee said.
Ryder cleared his throat. “We broke up about a year ago.”
“Oh I hate hearing that,” Mia said. The three turned away
from him and continued on with their conversation. Ryder stood silent, smoking
his cigarette and wished the other two would disappear. As he listened to
Corbin talk about how sexy Mason looked tonight, he felt anger and jealousy
filling up his gut. He threw his cigarette down and stomped it. He leaned
towards Corbin.
    “You going back in?”
“Yeah, in a few.” She gave him a quick glance then returned
to her friends.
Seriously, did she just blow me off? And why the hell do
I care if she did?
Ryder turned on his heels and trudged back inside the bar.
Once inside he headed straight for the bathroom. He stood alone at the urinal,
trying to rationalize what just went down with Corbin. He heard the door open
and then someone locking it. He turned and saw Tina and Trina standing behind
him.
    Oh Shit.
“Hey ladies, what’s up?” He shoved his dick back into his
pants. They looked at each other and giggled.
“Tina and I were just talking about that awesome weekend we
had with you,” Trina purred.
“We would like to pay you back.” They
