each culminating
with a large teardrop ruby, making the corset all the more lavish.
It was breathtaking— an absolute work of art!
With the hundreds of jewels set into it, it surely cost more
than I could ever fathom!
That’s awfully arrogant of him, assuming I will select
him!
I threw myself back upon the bed in surrender.
Oh, who am I kidding?  I would choose him every time if only
he were there.
I could not wait to try it on.  But for now, I had to ready
meself for my requisite performance.  I could only imagine how nervous I was
going to be with the knowledge ahead of time that Lucius would be out there
watching me, waiting to be alone with me afterwards.
That night, I was scheduled to perform with three men.  I
knew very well what licentious carnal combinations a scenario such as that
would yield.  My stomach tied itself into a knot as I wondered what he would
think of seeing me as that.  I wished I had been assigned something less scandalous
for the night he had chosen to come for me.  But I knew there was nothing I
could do to change it.
When my performance began, I scanned over the audience
meticulously.  When he was nowhere to be seen, my heart sank.  Perhaps he had
decided not to come after all.  Or perhaps he had only played a cruel trick
upon me.  I could not understand why he would not be there.
Nevertheless, still holding onto my hope that Lucius would
hold true to his word, I intended upon readying myself for him.  After my
performance, I went back to my chamber and bathed.  Then my handmaiden brushed
my hair till it was smooth as silk and applied makeup to my face.  And at last,
the moment I had waited for, I stood before the looking glass holding his
corset to my chest while she laced up the back, pulling them tight so that my
cleavage appeared to be bursting forth from the top.
I quickly slipped on some lace topped sheer black stockings
and heels, and a pair of over the elbow black lace gloves.  I topped off the
look with a string of pearls.  Satisfied with my appearance, I smiled at myself
in the looking glass.  I hoped he would be completely stunned when he saw me!
I had to wonder why he would send this to me, arranging to
meet with me in essence, only to still have me have to go through the usual
selection process.  I presumed it must have been because he wanted all the
other Vampires to see me in the luxurious garment he had presented to me, which
would only make them covet me more.  And then, of course, it would be he who
this most sought after courtesan would select to spend her evening with.
Fortified with this new knowledge, I left my chamber to make
my way up to the backstage, a poised smile upon my face.
When I stepped up onto that platform, he indeed was there
waiting for me.  Only this time, he was standing right in front.  My heart
jumped into my throat, so relieved I was to see him actually there.  Then I
felt the blood rush to my cheeks at the mere sight of him, not to mention most
every other part of my body.
My God!  The responses he brings forth in me!
I went through the customary motions, all the while knowing
full well who I would be taking back with me.  The way he looked at me up there
dressed for him, was even more intense than usual— something I would never have
thought possible before that night.  His eyes virtually consumed me.  I had never
felt so beautiful in all my life as I did in that moment.
Leading the way back to the VIP room, I could feel Lucius’s
eyes upon me, following my every step, making me nervous, in the best way
possible.  I wondered what he had in store for me.  Although, I never could
have imagined what it would be…
Suddenly I did not want to take him to the same place that I
took all the other Vampires.  He was so much more special than that.  He
deserved more .  I deserved more.  Abruptly turning him to the right
rather than the left to lead him down the corridor which housed the
