“And you’re mine.”
At that moment, I couldn’t argue his point. I was totally his. My entire body was on fire. My sex gripped at nothing, pleading for any sort of contact Cade would provide.
“So, let’s get back to my rules. I have rules for a reason, Amelia. Most important is discipline. I’ll train you to submit to me in the manner I enjoy. You will be rewarded beyond measure in a manner I can assure you’ll enjoy. Is that clear?”
I nodded, though I had no idea why. I grasped onto the word enjoy and went with it.
“So, you will remain naked any time I demand it.”
    I nodded.
“Repeat my rule, baby.” His hands landed on my spread thighs, caressing the skin between them.
“I’ll remain naked with you, Sir,” I whispered.
“You will not masturbate without my permission.”
I swallowed. That one was easy since I hadn’t masturbated previously without his permission. “I won’t touch myself when I’m not with you, Sir.”
“Good girl. You will keep your pussy shaved smooth at all times. I’ll let you decide in the morning whether you want to take on that task yourself or have me do it.”
I didn’t see how I was ever going to shave myself down there. And I flinched every time he referred to my sex as my pussy, often in a manner that left me wetter than before.
“Amelia, concentrate. Repeat what I said.”
“I’ll shave my, um, hair, Sir.”
“Good girl. Do you remember my last rule for today?”
    “No panties, Sir.”
He smiled. His hands roamed my thighs, getting closer to my center with each pass. My legs shook. Even my arms shook where I gripped my hands together above my head.
“Baby, you’re so fucking sexy. I promise you won’t regret this. Give me a chance, and I’ll show you a world you’ve never even dreamed about.”
I didn’t doubt his capability in that department. I also needed to get out of there. Go home. Think. Make lists of pros and cons. I realized this was a foregone conclusion for Cade, but for me it was a major life decision.
At no point in my life had I contemplated submitting to another human being. I had never considered myself that weak.
Cade leaned in and nibbled a path up my thigh, making me suck in a breath. He lifted his face before he reached my center. “Tomorrow morning, come to work as usual, but I’ll be talking to Moriah about making sure you climb up from the lowest rung.” He smirked and then muttered, “She has a fucking master’s in business admin, and she’s bringing my people coffee.” He rolled his eyes.
“Sir, no .” I lowered my hands and lifted myself onto my elbows.
    “No, what?”
“Well, first of all, there’s no way in hell I’m going to date you and work for you at the same time. If you were thinking about seeing me again after today—” I cut myself off. “Hell, after the way I’ve let you manhandle me all afternoon, I can’t go back to the office anyway, so this discussion is moot, but still, I would never want you to do anything to get me promoted. I intend to earn my way up in whatever company I land. I’ll turn in my resignation tomorrow.”
“Of course you won’t.” His brows furrowed. He shook his head. “Did I mention wanting you to quit your job?”
    “No, but—”
“You aren’t quitting your job, Amelia. End of discussion. If you still want to quit after you’ve opened that last package on the kitchen table, I’ll be happy to oblige. But not now, not when I’ve just gotten you. I want you in my office. I want to know where you are at all times.” His hands gripped my legs and pressed them open wider. “I want this pussy naked and available, and I want to know that it’s in my building. We clear?”
We were so totally not clear. “Cade,” I shook my head while I spoke, “this is ridiculous. I would never dally with someone I worked with under any circumstances. And in this case, it’s too late. The damage is done. I can’t go back there. I’ll find another job.”
