concentration, and seemed to have a concerned look on his face. He looked up as Richard walked into the room.
"Good morning again, mate" he greeted Richard, the worried look on his face still present. "To keep you up to speed, I have received an intelligence update from Scotland Yard's Anti-Terrorism team. The UK Border Agency have flagged up to them the entry of three known Hezbollah members, out of Syria. Hezbollah are a Shi'a Islamist militant group and political party based in Lebanon. They cannot confirm anything but suggest there may be an attempt on Mr. Rogers's life"
"I see. So it's time to start earning our money, then," Richard responded, joining Rob at the table. He now understood the reason for the concerned look on Rob’s face.
The next hour was spent going over the itinerary for that morning. It was only a lunch meeting with a member of the Lebanese Ministry, but they needed to make sure all angles were covered. The venue was to be the Ivy Restaurant in the affluent Chelsea area of the city. This was only a ten-minute car drive from Belgravia, so the transit shouldn't be a problem. The security advance party, which consisted of normally a driver and two people, would check out the venue thirty minutes prior to their arrival. This was normal procedure, and Richard had practiced it many times on his course. They would sweep the venue for likely escape routes, and would inspect for unsavoury characters in the building. It was their task also to drive the route and make sure that they would travel unimpeded.
The main party would consist of two cars, the client’s leading, with Carl driving, and Richard with Hank. Rob was team leader. Along with Rob, a driver and two others formed the personal escort section, which would follow up with the second car. If there was an issue on route like a breakdown, or threat to the principal, the client would be transferred, or “cross-decked” to the second vehicle. This would allow travel without delay.
Once Rob was happy that Richard was in the picture, he asked if he had any concerns, or any problems he might foresee. This was what was known as a “Chinese parliament,” and was used by most British military forces. Richard asked a series of questions which Rob readily answered. Nodding his head at the plan, and content with the drills to be carried out, Richard turned to Rob and said, "Well it looks like we're good to go. I'm going to get changed into my suit. What time do you want to meet up?"
Rob smiled at him. It was great to work with people like him, consummate professionals. Little did he know about the events of the previous night.
"I'll get the team to meet here thirty minutes before to run through the move," Rob said
"Okay I'm off to my room then, I will check with Hank to see what he is wearing, don't want to out stage him." The pair of them laughed, but there was a serious point to Richard’s remark. A close protection officer never put himself in a position to embarrass his client.
Leaving the room, Richard made his way up the stairs. As he reached the bottom of the staircase, he observed the shapely figure of Pandora coming down towards him. She was dressed in a very short white pleated tennis skirt with a tight-fitting white matching t-shirt, accentuating the shape of her impeccably formed globes. She was carrying a tennis racket in one hand and a couple of yellow balls in the other. As she passed him on the stairs, she gave him a cheeky grin and a wink. Pouting her lips at him, she imitated blowing him a kiss. She was seductive temptress and knew how to push Richard's buttons. He could feel himself growing in his jeans, the throbbing of his cock driving him wild. The scent of her perfume lingered after she had passed, a heady aroma.
On reaching the hall, she dropped one of the balls she was carrying. “Oops! I'm so clumsy," she said in a raised voice loud enough to make Richard turn around. The exclamation had the desired effect, and Richard
