her.

The thought of him stripping her down to her thong in his truck and taking her made her want to moan out loud. She was dripping wet for him to do just that and she struggled to keep her breathing under control. Skylar didn’t want to look over at Nate; if she did she’d end up jumping him in the truck. Breathing out slowly and calming herself down, she looked out the window and thought about her orders.
Arriving at Joey’s, Nate jumped out and made his way around to her. He placed his hand on her lower back, guiding her through the door, and went up to the main bar.
“Hey Joey, how’s it going?”
He looked up and smiled, “Pretty good, Nate. Hi Skylar. What would you guys like to drink?” He grinned at Skylar and she smiled back at him.
“We’ll have two beers, thanks.”
They waited for their drinks, then moved towards the booths. Taking a seat across from each other, they both took a sip of their beer. “So, Skylar, tell me about yourself,” he said, wanting to know everything there was to know about her.
She took another sip of her beer and looked around. Finally looking back at him, she answered, “There’s not that much to tell.” Skylar breathed in slowly and answered him anyway. “I’m thirty years old. I have a sister younger than me and a nephew. Chantal is like a second sister to me, we’ve known each other since we were five. I’m a sales representative and only work for a close friend of mine. I don’t know what else to tell you, my life is pretty boring. What about you?” she asked, trying to find out more about him. She didn’t like to talk about herself.
“Well, full name is Nathaniel Jackson, but as you know everyone calls me Nate. I’m thirty-four years old and work as a mechanic. I have one older brother, both parents still around, but if you want to ask me anything, I’m happy to answer.” He smiled. “So, where were you before you moved here?”
She hesitated for a second; she didn’t want to think of her life before moving here, or of Lucas. Just thinking of that name made her shiver. She wrapped her arms around herself. “Before here, I lived at Bondi with some friends. I worked for an interior design company. I enjoyed it a lot, met a lot of people, but after a while I had enough of the place and moved up to be closer to Chantal. I missed her when she moved up here, so I just up and left and now I’m here,” she answered with a weary smile.
“So the friends that lived with you, did you work with them?” he asked, trying to get out of her what happened to her.
She shivered again when he asked that question. He saw it and leaned over, picking up her hand and placing it in his, rubbing his thumb over her knuckles.
Breathing slowly, she said, “Yeah, I worked with both of them. I met them when I first started to work at the company. After a while I dated one of them that I lived with and everything was going great. Chantal told me that there was something about him that she didn’t like, but I just ignored her.” She could feel tears building up. “I spent every waking moment with him and I was never home; I didn’t see Chantal much. I pushed her away.” She wiped her face and continued. “Then everything went downhill from there. He started to get really possessive, wouldn’t let me go anywhere unless he was there with me, or his friend. I snuck out a couple of times to see Chantal or Craig, but he knew where I was going and would be there before I even got there.” She was crying now, she really didn’t want to think of what happened after that.
“When he found me, he’d grab me and throw me in his car and his friend would drive me home. He wouldn’t let me out of his sight. After a few attempts at seeing Chantal or Craig, I just gave up. I could never get close to either of them, especially Craig.
“One night, he came home drunk and accused me of sleeping with one of his
