said. Josie nodded biting her lip. He kissed her and
grabbed her phone off the night table.
“This better not be your husband.” He said
giving it to her. She lowered her head turning on the display.
John’s number popped up.
“Uh-oh.” Josie dialed it back and turned to
Grayson who looked a little nervous.
“Maggie.” Josie said when Maggie answered.
She listened as Maggie asked her about what Grace could eat.
Apparently she told Aunt Maggie that she was allowed dessert with
dinner. Something Josie never did because she knew Grace was a
dessert-aholic and would eat the sweets before the food. Once Josie
cleared that that wasn’t allowed, Maggie asked about their time so
far. After what they had just done Josie was blushing and told
Maggie it was all amazing right now.
She hung up without giving details like
Maggie had been begging for and grabbed her towel and the bottle,
joined Grayson in the shower. They ended up fucking again, twice,
before hitting nearly every room in the house. Including the living
room which saw the majority of their activity that day.

They relaxed the next day, spending it
kissing and snuggling in bed instead of having sex. Josie’s ass was
sore most of the day but if given the choice she would do it again,
a million times if she could. She’d never climaxed the way she
climaxed with doing anal.
Grayson fed her an apple slice while they
watched one of her sappy love movies on Lifetime. Normally he put
up a fight but he couldn’t today. He was too happy to be
annoyed.
“Do you remember how we met?” Josie
asked.
    “Blind date.” He said smiling.
“Thanks to that weird hippie girl. What was
her name?”
“Becky.” Grayson said kissing her cheek.
“We should have made her our maid of honor.”
Josie looked into his eyes. Grayson chuckled. “I wouldn’t be so
damn happy if it weren’t for her.” Josie laid her head on his
shoulder. He kissed her lips softly.
“I remember her. Meeting her that night. I
was at a 90’s grunge themed party at that frat house.” She
continued.
    “No you weren’t.” Grayson said.
    “Yeah I was.”
“At the frat house on the north side of the
campus?” He said. Josie thought back trying to remember the campus.
She’d walked it a billion times but it was enormous. She couldn’t
really remember north or south.
“I think.” Josie said. “I just remember
meeting her and she looked at me and said: ‘I’ve got someone for
you. He’s perfect for you’, the next week I was sitting across from
you on our one and only date.”
“I didn’t see you at that party.” Grayson
said.
    “I was there.” Josie smiled.
“I could have started this dream a week
earlier.” He flattered her. She nodded softly.
“We could have.” She said. He kissed her
temple. “I can’t believe how that could give me this. Beautiful
kids, a man who adores me and a life that gives me all the
happiness I can stand.”
“We do have it all. Struggles or not we have
each other and that makes it all better right.” Grayson said. Josie
nodded and snuggled into him. He held her tightly.
“I love being your husband.” He said. She
smiled softly.
“Not when I make you clean up dog poop.”
Josie said against his chest. He laughed.
“Yeah, not then.” He chuckled. She looked up
at him.
    “I love you.” She whispered.
“I love you too.” Grayson smiled. She pursed
her lips and he kissed her tenderly.
Happily Josie laid her head on his chest
again looking down at the television. Grayson stroked her hair back
behind her ear.

Tuesday was bright and sunny. The birds were
live and active and the dogs just wanted to be outside. Grayson let
them out after cleaning the backyard and feeding them.
“Will you run to town for me?” Josie asked
Grayson when he returned from letting the dogs outside. He looked
up at her and gave her a soft smile.
“Yes.” He said. Josie kissed him.
    “I’ll make a list.”
    “I’ll take a
