potatoes a bit scorched, Rylee found it was the best meal she’d had in a long time.
Chapter Five
Rylee put the dishes back in the basket while Hunter gathered the garbage in a bag. Together, they hauled everything to the edge of the meadow and set it beside a path she hadn’t even known was there. “I’m assuming the elves are going to sneak back here tonight and magically cart this away?”
“That’s the plan.” They strolled toward the tent.
“Now what?” She wanted to hammer out her contract, get that out of the way, but figured it would be better to wait until morning when she had a clear head.
“Saturday,” he said, taking her hand in his.
“Mind reading now?”
“You’re not so hard to read, my lovely Snow, but I have plans for you tomorrow.”
“Oh? Care to share?”
He yanked her close, lowered his head, and kissed her hard and deep, his tongue plunging in to lay claim.
Rylee was breathless when he stopped. She stared into his glittering eyes. “Wow, I’m game. Maybe we can get a head start.” She lifted her head, inviting him to take her again.
“Much as I’d love to indulge you, we’ve got somewhere to be.”
“Oh.” She’d rather stay here with him and not be around anyone else. “Guess we need to change.”
He grinned. “Nope. You’re perfect just like that.”
“I don’t think so. Are there going to be others there?”
“Yep. But you won’t see them.”
“Huh?” A ringing bell made her frown.
“Our ride is coming.” He handed her a pair of slippers. “Put these on, and let’s go.”
She followed him as he skirted the tent. They exited the woods onto a wide pathway, farther up from where they’d left the ice chests and baskets. She’d assumed they were deep in some forest and found it reassuring that it was just an illusion.
“What ride?” The ring of the bell sounded closer. She glanced to her right. Her jaw dropped when a white horse pulling a white carriage came into view. She recognized the driver. Hastings, the butler, wore a dark coat and top hat. He stopped in front of them. Hunter stepped forward and pulled the door open.
Rylee frowned as she studied the step. “Shit, I can’t get up into this.” If she did, she’d be exposing herself to the butler if he glanced around.
Laughing softly, Hunter bit her ear lobe. “No one to see but me.” He lifted her onto the black leather seat then scooted in beside her and closed the door. “Ready, Hastings.”
Without a word, the butler flipped the reins, and they lurched forward.
She snuggled into her lover’s embrace. “Where are we going?” Not that she cared. A horse and topless carriage ride at dusk in the woods was magical enough.
“You’ll see.”
“Ugh. I used to hate when my parents said that.”
He chuckled. “Yeah, me, too. Guess it’s something branded on every human’s brain, and we’re cursed into using it ourselves.”
“Or you can break the curse and tell me.” She sighed as the forest deepened around them. Night was fast approaching, but lights hidden in the thick ferns on either side of the path blinked on.
“Or you, my impatient Snow, can wait for the show.”
“A show? Out here? Like an outdoor theater?”
Hunter burst out laughing. “You’ll see, but yeah, you might have it right.” The carriage stopped. Hunter stepped out, lifted her into his arms, and let her glide slowly down his front. His cloth-covered cock scraped across her pussy.
“Dammit, Hunter.” Her voice rose to a squeak when her skirt rode up to her waist. She eyed the butler as she struggled to get her skirt down, but hands cupped her ass. She was grateful Hunter stood between her and the driver.
“I have plans for us, Snow.” He dug his fingers into each exposed cheek.
She rolled her eyes. “I just bet you do, Mighty Huntsman, but not here.”
“Tomorrow, you’ll learn that I’m in control. When I fuck you, it will be when I say, how I say, and where I say.”
