as his orgasm inched closer.
He tried to ignore Cole, simply let his mind wander to the places it would normally go when he did this. It didn’t stay there long though, as he became hyperaware of the man watching him get off. Cole’s reactions to his masturbation became his focus. The other man’s gaze flitted from his cock to his stomach and back to his hand. His mouth had fallen open, and his tongue darted out to moisten his lips.
“Do you have any idea what you look like?” Cole rolled his head to the side, but still remained pressed to the wall. “You have a perfect cock. Thick the way I like it. It would take you a while to get me ready to take you. When I was ready, you’d stretch my ass so wide. I’d feel you for days later.”
Owen groaned and let his eyes slip closed.
“Your head is so red right now. I bet it would be hot in my mouth. Your cum would be hot on my tongue. I bet it wouldn’t take more than a few seconds for me to suck you off.”
It took less than that. With the mental image of Cole giving him head, Owen came hard. His orgasm rolled through him, shaking him to his core. Cum spilled across his fist and shot in a wet line across his stomach. His hips lifted off the floor as he thrust into his fist one final time, before collapsing into a boneless heap. A pair of shoes dug into his back, but he didn’t give a shit.
He couldn’t hear much beyond the pounding of his heart in his ears for several minutes. Hell, he hadn’t noticed that Cole had gotten up until a warm facecloth landed on his stomach. He forced his eyes open to see Cole standing over him, a smirk on his face.
“We’re doing twelve days of this?”
Owen chuckled. “I don’t know if I’ll survive.” It only took him a minute to clean up and fix his clothing.
    “Me either.”
Now that the whole uncontrollable-need-to-come moment had passed, Owen couldn’t shake his awkwardness. Shit, he hadn’t even gotten fully into Cole’s condo. The narrow hallway opened up into what looked like a living room of sorts. Not that he could see much of it from where he was. Yeah, this wasn’t awkward at all.
He folded the facecloth so Cole wouldn’t get anything on him and handed it back. “Thanks. And sorry for this.”
“For sucking my brains out of my dick?” Cole grinned, the first genuine smile he’d given him since he’d walked into the bar over a week ago. “I’ll forgive you this time. Just try to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”
“I’ll do my best.” He didn’t normally do this weirdness with a partner. It was normally all about the sex, thanks so much, and have a great night. “I better leave you be.” He found his coat draped over their beer purchases and slipped it on.
“Owen.” Cole reached out and stopped him with the gentlest of touches. “Thank you. For everything. Today was good. I feel a bit more like myself again.”
With those few words, all of his trepidation melted away. “You’re welcome.”
They hugged, more of a friendly gesture than anything romantically inclined. Cole stepped back and opened the door. “I’ll see you soon.”
Owen wouldn’t admit it out loud, but it wouldn’t be soon enough. “Good night.”
The snow had started coming down in earnest by the time he’d reached the street. With his collar pulled up and his hands shoved into his pockets, he enjoyed the short walk to the bar. For the first time in ages, he was stress-free. Spending the day with Cole had done wonders for taking his mind off his dad and the bar. A much-needed break.
He was about to unlock the outside side door and head up to his place when his phone buzzed. There was a message from Cole.
I could use some help getting a Christmas tree tomorrow. Are you game?
He grinned and texted his affirmative. It seemed that helping Cole was going to be easier than he’d first thought. Now all he had to do was try to keep it in his pants.

There were many things Cole felt guilty about, but Owen giving
