tables would pull his mind from the gutter, reminding him they weren’t alone. Sam was mesmerizing, he found himself wanting to know more, not just see more.
No raw emotions, just friendship, and whatever seductive, carnal, benefits that came with it. She could handle that. She needed that, badly, he had her wound up so tight, she was going to erupt in a most embarrassing way, simply by watching the man. She was letting her guard down, slowly, letting him in, and as much as she appreciated him beyond the physical, she had to keep her wits about her, and not let her heart get involved. But that was becoming quite the task, as her heart was leading the way.
He returned with two beers, a couple glasses of water, and a basket of peanuts, he had thought of everything. They got part way through their mugs and some safe insignificant chatter, when the music got louder and the crowd got larger. They took to the floor, where very little was spoken, but a lot was said.
The Pump House catered to every genre of music, tonight was upbeat and energetic, crossing the decades with their song and dance. The crowd cheered as the theme seemed to lean more country, likely due to the rodeo and all its cowboys in town. They enjoyed themselves, it was fun and comfortable and maybe a little sexy, each impressed with what the other brought to the evening, and left on the dance floor. They gave it their all and worked it to a few line dances, a two step, and even a swing.
They had danced a hundred times at The Pump House, it was a common gathering place amongst their circle of friends, but tonight was different. They each saw the other in a different light, each wanting to impress the other, and both succeeding. There was something unintentionally seductive about dancing, at least tonight for these two, they couldn’t keep their eyes or hands off each other.
Hot, sweating, and exhausted, Dawson was headed to the table when he noticed she had stayed on the dance floor. She was looking right at him, intentions made clear with just a look, her eyes were heavy, cheeks flushed, and she started dancing…for him.
It was one of those sexy, tantalizing, shake your ass, have no shame dances, and she embraced every opportunity to swing and display her offer. She was in the line, doing the dance, watching him over her shoulder, captivating him, as she shook exactly what he wanted. She had an extra sway in her hips, move to her ass, and ground it around, bending over a bit more than necessary, seducing him with every alluring move.
She ran her hands through her hair, tossing her head back in a provocative manner, licking her lips as she turned back to him, knowing exactly what she was doing, luring him in. She was sexy as hell, charming him with her body, his pants were so tight it hurt, she had him in the palm of her dainty little hand. She wanted him, she was his muse, she was his.
The song ended and she started off to their table, when he wrapped his arm around her waist and held her close, keeping her on the dance floor. It was a slow song, neither could tell you to what, nor did they care, and they danced. He asked her if that intoxicating number was for him and she nodded with a devilish grin. He held her closer so she could feel his arousal, so she could see what she did to him, and then he kissed her. Hard. It wasn’t soft and sweet like it had been at the park. No, it was hard, purposeful, and full of invitation and wicked intention.
She was accepting it and gave back as much as she received. She kissed him with everything she had, rubbing her body against him like a secret lap dance only he could see and feel. Not sure how he broke down her walls, she got lost in him, not caring where they were or who was watching the thrill he was giving her. She couldn’t taste enough of him. His leg between hers, chest to chest, they ground and danced a little dirty. The message to everyone around was clear, they may not think they were dating, but
