even faster and deeper. Her channel squeezed rhythmically giving him an indescribable pleasure. His demon was near the surface enjoying their joining and biding his time until he could mate her. He pounded into his female and she was slick and took all he had to give. She urged him on wanting more and he felt a tingle running down his back. Her channel tightened and he knew she was on the edge of her own release.
The wet squishing sound as he slammed into her excited him more than he could say and pushed him closer to his orgasm with each drive inside her. Her nails dug into his back feeding him just a small amount of pain, but he embraced it. Moving one hand between them he searched for her sensitive bundle of nerves so he could push her over the edge into bliss. When he found it he pulled it between his thumb and his finger and she exploded around him allowing him to follow. She screamed his name and her channel clamped down hard on his cock squeezing his essence out of it. Razar bucked and jerked against her feeling the most powerful release he could imagine. It pulled from his toes all the way through his body and even his scalp felt electrified from it. They both gasped, struggling even to breathe, and he felt his mate shiver in her delight.
Their coming together had been perfect, so completely wonderful that surely it was a sign that they should be bound together forever. He nuzzled her neck as he continued to hold her close reluctant to let her get away from him.
“Have you thought about staying here and mating me? I would make you happy, I swear!” Razar whispered into her ear as he held her tight.
“I’ve thought of nothing else. My old home never made me really happy but I’m afraid that if I stay here I might become unhappy later and it will be too late to leave.”
“I would never allow you to be unhappy. You would be the center of my world.”
“Tell me more about what mating involves.”
“A male wins his mate in the games.”
    “Is hunting the only game?”
“No, but it is the most common one. Most public games where many play are hunts. The royals didn’t like hunts, they found them too common and dirty. They usually played games like puzzles or ran mazes. Once the mate is caught, the male gives her a chance to rest and clean up before he shows her that he can give her what she needs.”
    “So he woos her?”
“Yes, if he gets her agreement, they will make love and he administers his mating bite which transfers the venom, they exchange a promise to stay together forever, and the male chants magical binding words. I’ve been told you feel the mating take hold and then you are joined for all time.”
    “Does it hurt?”
“I’ve been told it feels magical and wonderful.”
“It sounds romantic. How are you sure when it is right?”
“There is a feeling there and when the games commence, the mate you see is meant to be yours.”
    “You only saw me?”
“Yes, no one else existed for me but you.”
“Sometimes you say the most beautiful things.”
“You make me feel the most beautiful things.”
A few days passed as they grew closer and became more addicted to each other. It wasn’t just the sex, they had much in common and she was as physical as he was. She also rarely slept the eight or more hours he’d been told to expect, usually fully recharged with six. He and others of his kind generally slept a solid four hours unless ill or wounded. The differences didn’t seem to be large and they adjusted to each other perfectly. Each day he hoped she would tell him she was ready and she seemed to become more a part of him and his world with each passing moment.
Razar fixed breakfast waiting for his female to wake and join him. He was almost done when she came up behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist. She leaned on him for a moment. “I see you’re cooking. It smells great.”
“Breakfast for us, Mate.” He used the term mate hoping she’d get used to it. Nothing
