I’m not your future, I’m your friend. It’s okay to be afraid about change. Just remember change can be a good thing. And in your case I’m convinced that change is going to be a great thing. So, don’t let your apprehension about the process ruin your chance of having an incredible future.”
Teddy looked at his incredibly beautiful friend. She was rare find, but she was right. She wasn’t his future. She was wise beyond her years. This crazy reality TV show was about to turn his world completely upside down and right side up and he knew it. As he stared into her hypnotic big eyes he simply nodded in agreement before pulling her in his arms and holding her close. To his surprise Icee, aka the Ice Princess allowed it. Hell, she even hugged him back.
“Thanks Icee for being a good friend and the voice of reason over the years. It means a lot to me.” He emotionally breathed in her ear.
“I know you need to get your Bear paws off my damn woman!” Kai joked as he pulled Icee away and gave Teddy some dap and a bro hug. “Sorry playa, this one belongs to me.”
“What?” Teddy asked stunned as he looked back and forth between the two of them. Kai and Icee nervously exchanged glances as they realized that their secret was out. “What’s going on?”
“Nothing’s going on. Well not really… Right Kai?” Icee back peddled and stumbled over her words as Teddy eyeballed her.
“No actually there is… Janette and I have been secretly dating since we met. I know you asked us not to but, she’s just too good of a woman to let slip away. Besides, you’re about to find someone and get serious, so I decided it was time for me to get a steady lady of my own. Truth is I’m in love with this magnificent woman.” Kai confessed as he pulled Icee into his arms and held her from behind.
“Who the hell is Janette?” Teddy asked although he knew the answer.
“You’re such an ass!” Icee giggled as she sampled Kai’s sweet lips.
“It’s cool right? I know you kind of had a thing for her, but it’s okay that we hooked up? Right?” Kai asked for Teddy’s permission.
Teddy laughed. “Yeah, who am I to stand in the way of true love. I’m just going to let you know that Icee’s like the play cousin that I never had. Fuck over her and I’ll be forced to fuck you up.”
“ Play cousin my ass ! Nigga you ’ve been trying to drag her to your bed since day one. Hell, you just asked her to marry you.” Kai laugh ed.
“I didn’t ask her to marry me. I was just playing around. I’m good. Hey, I’m just happy she finally found someone who could deal with her cold blooded ass.” Teddy joked.
“Hey, ain’t a damn thing cold about this woman. She’s got my blood boiling right now. ” Kai murmured as he sucked Icee’s lips in his mouth and scorched them with a full on whorehouse kiss.
Teddy coughed loudly as their kiss lingered and lingered for an uncomfortable amount of time. “You two need to handle that shit later. The shows about to start in less than t wenty minutes and we have to get on set.
“Yeah, sure… Whatever you say… Go ahead; w e’ll meet you down there in a few .” Kai quickly dismissed him as he continued to ravish Icee in the master suite reserved for Teddy’s visits to the mansion .
“You bitches better not be late, that’s all I know!” Teddy growled as he put on his jacket and headed out. “And I mean that bullshit.”
It was futile to say another single word. Those t w o had crossed the threshold of no return and were headed for the door of we ain’t ever coming back. So Teddy left them alone and thanked God that he wouldn’t be sleeping in that bed tonight.
