with his furious pistoning and wonderful kisses, and within seconds she fell into her very own awesome pleasure world.
    * * * * *

    Nuzzling his chin into the crook of his sleeping Cat’s neck and shoulder, Calder inhaled her sensual scent of soap and sweet feminine perspiration. He’d fucked her several times, bringing both of them to orgasm over and over again. After they were spent and they’d fallen into an exhausted sleep. The afternoon sun beat against his white-frosted windows and with all their sexual exercises, his bedroom was getting quite hot. But he didn’t want to leave her side to go and turn on the air conditioner and he didn’t want to wake her either.
    Although he really should. She probably had customers today. They would be pissed off she hadn’t canceled or shown up. She would be pissed off he hadn’t woken her. But he’d deal with that later, when the time came. Right now he just wanted to keep inhaling her comfortable warmth and watch her tentacle tattoos as they ebbed and flowed in vibrant colors with her every breath.
    She was in the process of her change now. In a matter of days, she would permanently be an Octoposeidon like himself. She would be a shapeshifter. Human by day and part-human, part-octopus by night.
    He only hoped she didn’t lose her sanity when she discovered the truth. His species, direct descendants of the god Poseidon and his mating with an octopus, were always near extinction. The males outnumbered the females by about a thousand to one. This was why males who were lucky enough to find a mate were so territorial and aggressive against other males, whether in human or Octoposeidon form. Understandably mutations had occurred, when a human was unable to accept the change and insanity ensued. If that happened, it would be up to him to kill her to protect their species. If humans ever discovered his kind existed, the humans would most likely hunt them down to extinction, just as they had done to so many other species.
    Calder reached up and ran his fingers through the strands of her silky hair. No, she would accept her identity. She would not go insane or into denial. She couldn’t. He was already in love with her and if he couldn’t get her to fall in love with him, then surely he’d die of loneliness.

Chapter Five

    Catalina awoke to the cool breeze brushing against her hot skin. Blinking, she winced at the muted sunshine, streaming in compliments of the frosted windows on three sides of the bedroom. Stretching out on the bed, she smiled at how absolutely wonderful she felt. So satisfied and happy. Very happy. The man certainly did know how to pleasure a woman.
    Calder was definitely experienced. She’d have to question him regarding his past. Where he came from. What kind of work he did. His hobbies.
    Suddenly she wanted to know everything about him. Usually she was so cautious in picking bed partners. Okay, so she was way overcautious and that’s why she’d only slept with four guys in her life excluding Calder. The others had been mediocre in the lovemaking department, mainly catering to their own needs. Oh, they’d made a show of trying to arouse her, but in the end they stopped when they’d satisfied themselves.
    But Calder… Catalina trembled as the cool air met her sizzling memories. Calder just kept fucking her and raining orgasms on her. She’d had no idea she could climax so many times. The most she’d ever climaxed was twice and that had been by her own hand.
    She licked her lips. They were tender from his intense kisses. Tender and bruised. She loved the confident way he’d kissed her body too. His mouth had made love to her skin with those butterfly kisses. And that tongue… What an erotic tongue in the way he could wrap it around her nipple like a tentacle, latching on and pulling and tugging.
    She blinked in wonder. Could a man really do that with a tongue? He was quite talented with it. She wouldn’t mind having a repeat performance. Which
