feeling it though.”
Kandi shrugged. “I really don’t fuck with him no more.”
“You really don’t have to explain anything to me. Hell, we just met today.”
“And I already sucked your juicy dick twice.” She smiled.
Trevon could not hold back his grin. “Yeah, you did,” he said, looking at her hips filling out her outfit.
“So,” she said as she slid her nails up his arm. “Have you made up your mind about being my new roommate?”
Trevon thought back to the bullshit with Swagga. “Did your—ex come by your crib today?”
“Yes. But it won’t happen again. I forgot to remove his name from the visitors list. If he’s not on it, they won’t let him through the gate,” she said, speaking of the armed guards at the front gate.
“Before I make that move, shouldn’t I wait to see if Janelle will sign me or not?”
“Why wouldn’t she? She bought you some clothes and it was her idea for you to stay with me.” She took her hand away from his arm.
Trevon knew she was making sense. “What’s your real name?” he asked, catching her off guard.
“Why?” She crossed her arms, tilting her beautiful face.
“Kandi is your porn name, right?”
    She nodded.
He looked around. “I don’t see no cameras, so why should I call you Kandi?”
“Does it matter?” She looked away only for him to gently turn her face back toward his.
“What’s your real name?” Damn, she’s so damn fine!
“My real name is LaToria,” she said reluctantly.
    “LaToria what?”
“Damn!” She smiled. “You the police?”
“Yeah.” He stepped closer. “And I’ma punish you if you don’t tell me.”
“Punish me? How, Big Daddy?” She unfolded her arms.
“I’ma beat that pussy up first chance I get.”
“Mmmm! Well, in that case, I’ll never tell you my last name because I do want to be punished.”
Trevon rubbed his face. This girl is a damn trip! “What’s your full name?”
“LaToria Nicole Frost. Now quit bugging me.”
He smiled. “LaToria. That’s what I’m calling you from here on out.”
“Whatever!” She rolled her eyes and then looked at her pink gator band watch.
“You okay?” he asked, placing his hands on her shoulders.
She nodded yes. “Let’s go back inside and try to find Janelle.” She walked off because her emotions were starting to trip. Girl, you just met this nigga, so chill! she scolded herself.

CHAPTER
    EIGHT

Back inside, the party was still jumping. Trevon and Kandi entered the living room and found the floor packed. It looked like a club instead of a living room.
“Wanna dance?” she shouted over the loud music.
“I’m not much of a dancer!” he shouted back.
“Huh?” She pretended not to understand as she pulled him deep into the sea of bodies.
“I tried to warn you!” he shouted as she turned to shake her ass against him.
    “Just hold on then!”
Trevon was having too much fun to stress over his lack of dancing skills. Following Kandi’s advice, he held on to her winding hips, loving how her ass felt bumping against him. The deejay had the hundred plus crowd dancing and singing along to “Oh My” by DJ Drama featuring Fabolous, Wiz Khalifa and Roscoe Dash. Reality hit Trevon in a flood. He was finally free. They both danced through three songs before they squeezed out of the dancing mob.
The two were heading for the wet bar when Jurnee spotted them. Kandi greeted Jurnee with a big hug then whispered a few words into her ear. Jurnee smiled, keeping her eyes low.
Trevon looked at the two women, twenty cent. Two dimes. Hands down it was hard for him to pick between the two. Jurnee and her Cuban accent and sexy looks were tough to pass on. And then her age could be thrown in as well. Tonight she was killing it with a black shoulderless Nicole Miller collection silk twill dress. The deep scoop neckline showed off her juicy breasts. The tight dress looked glued to her body. Trevon admired her fully. He could not help
