construction company, Montgomery Construction. It just so happened that Lucky worked there. Faith’s dad hated Lucky dating his daughter and tore those two up by blackmailing Lucky, offering to give him one million dollars to leave Faith and the state of Arizona. Lucky came from a drug addicted mom, he felt trapped. His mom later died of an overdose, years after. Faith’s dad was going to expose Lucky’s life to the media if he didn’t take the money. He wanted to destroy his career. Unfortunately Lucky pretended he took the money, but really he just ran with Danny, his best friend to San Diego and never spent a cent. A few years passed, Lucky and Faith met up again through June - BT2090. Turns out June and Faith are best friends, so with everyone being all six degrees of separation and shit, there was no getting away from reuniting the two of them. Things worked out between them, they’re practically engaged. We’re just waiting…that will happen next.
“Yeah. I’m happy for them, I am, but…am I just crazy to be looking into this with Melody so soon?”
“How do you feel about her?”
I’m in love with her. “I told her I wanted her to be my forever. That tell you enough?”
“Damn, you’re whipped,” Slim howls. “My bro is growing up!” He then laughs.
I throw a couch pillow at him. “Fuck you.”
He laughs again. “Seriously, it’s a fucking trip to see you like this.”
“It’s a fucking trip to be acting like a pussy,” I complain. “Not sure how long I can keep up with her change of moods though.” I hate talking about Melody like this. Even though her moods change faster than I can say “fuck me,” she means something to me. Even if I wanted to, I don’t think I could give her up so easily.
    “Is she a headcase?”
“Nah,” I take another swig of my beer. “She seems more scared than psycho. She’s a tough chick, but won’t let her shield come down when we’re together. She makes me crazy - frustrated,” I swipe a hand down my face. I am so tired.
“Don’t know what to say, man. Just don’t get too caught up in the drama. Have fun, have sex, be merry.”
I lightly laugh. “Definitely enjoying the sex, asshole. She and I are a lot alike. We both love the control when it comes to sex. She is a Goddess in bed, a fucking Queen.” I lean my head against a couch pillow. “I’d bend on my hands and knees any day to get her to go to bed with me.”
“The master has found his servant.”
“Might be the other way around,” I mutter. I change the subject. “Get off your damn phone and turn on the TV.” Slim and his fucking networking. He keeps the band in the media by posting on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, anything to keep us out there for anyone to see what we’re doing.
He finally puts his phone aside and clicks on the TV. I think I fell asleep shortly thereafter. A knock on the door startles me awake. Slim beats me to the door before I get the chance to get my ass off the couch. It’s Melody.
    “Melody right?”
“That’s right. And you must be Slim?” Just the sound of her voice awakens my dick. I jump off the couch and walk my way over to her. Holy crap, she looks incredibly beautiful. She has on a pair of black leggings with an oversized, off the shoulder pink sweater. I can tell she isn’t wearing anything underneath, her big nipples are a bit hard. That’s not the only thing that is hard. Her hair is laying straight and over her shoulders; it’s fucking shiny and sexy as hell. The dark green in her eyes pop from the blackness of her hair. I love the way she looks.
“That I am. Nice to meet you.”
They shake hands. “Likewise.” Her eyes immediately meet mine and the heat between us is definitely noticeable.
Slim knows I’m behind him and can sense my desperation. “Your master awaits.”
    “Fuck off, shithead,” I chuckle.
“Gonna go to bed. See ya around, Melody.”
    “Night,” she responds back.
    “Hey, Sweetness,” I don’t give
