against his chest, and kissed my forehead, sighing softly. “We panicked when we learned you were on the way here. That’s why Mark was so livid earlier. We didn’t know what we’d find. I couldn’t stand for you to be hurt. None of us could.”
“I’m not hurt,” I said, settling my head against him. “Overwhelmed, but not hurt. I came to lose my inhibitions and make some serious decisions.”
“Good. You can do that now. Back in our suite.”
    “I have a room,” I said. “It’s number—
“We have adjoining two bedroom suites,” he interrupted. “You are not staying anywhere but with us. Your belongings have already been moved into one of the masters.” Determined, and with a tight hold, he strolled over the grounds and toward the main building. “That may have been too much for your first night, but you need to know where you’ve decided to vacation.”

    Chapter Eight

“He doesn’t cherish her,” I whispered.
“What was that?” Luca asked, dropping a kiss on my forehead.
I wanted to argue with Luca’s previous statement. I wanted to tell him it wasn’t too much, I just didn’t like it. The blonde was a receptacle for their dicks, and none of them, especially not her husband, seemed to love her.
“It’s not that it was too much,” I said, snuggling closer. “She was enjoying the act all right. I just felt bad that they didn’t show her any care. Like they didn’t really love her.”
“They probably didn’t know her, Lora. Her husband asked them to treat her like that. He gets off on it, and she enjoys the sex. It’s sex for sex. And as for the rest, some people, women and men, beg for humiliation and pain.”
“The guy made her pull off his condom with her teeth. He was flaccid and forcing her to suck him clean. I don’t like that.”
“Duly noted, sweetheart.” Luca entered the main building and took the staircase. I knew the man was in great shape, but I marveled at how effortlessly he moved with me in his arms. He wasn’t even breathing heavily from the effort of carrying me through the grounds. I was exhausted from the day and totally grateful for his care. “You liked the play, though?”
Nodding, I burrowed into his chest and closed my eyes. I didn’t want him to read the embarrassment I felt over the interest I truly had. Trying to understand what my body had reacted to, while in Luca’s arms, was like trying to put out a fire with kerosene
Luca stopped walking and I looked up as large double doors opened, and he placed me on my feet inside the threshold. Jake’s arm curled around my waist and his large hand pushed the hair off the side of my face.
“Good to see you,” Jake said, his voice gruff with obvious relief. He held me tight against his side, kissed the top of my head, and guided my tired body to the seating area. “It took you a long time. I missed you, Bella.”
“We took it slow, relaxed a little, and enjoyed the scenery,” Luca explained. “A few people stayed after the pool party was over and got down to business.”
“And?” Mark asked, strolling out from a small kitchen area with a bottle of water in hand. He wore only a comfortable looking pair of jeans low on his waist, his chest sculpted and cut like I’d always imagined, and his feet bare. He’d asked Luca, but he looked directly at me, and suddenly my body forgot about the fatigue as the electric current on my nerves amped higher. Mark wasn’t one to avoid an issue, and he was about to up the ante on my vacation.
“Our Lora has a need for some adventure. Curious and responsive to the environment, but she was unhappy with the degradation we witnessed.”
“They were nasty to her,” I said in my defense. “Like she was—like she didn’t matter.”
“Would it have changed how you felt if she mattered to them?” Jake asked, sitting on the couch beside me and squeezing my knee with strong and comforting fingers. Damn, these men knew me so well. They
