Melt (Hidden Pleasures, #3)
wasn’t just sex for her anymore. “Shea, if you want to come to the spa with me, then come. I made us appointments to be nice. But if you’re going to be an asshole, then just stay here.”
“Rwaow. Kitty getting some claws? Who knew hooking you up would get you all this back bone.” Shea slipped past her and out the door.
“Everybody changes. You have to get your own ride home. Gavin is picking me up.” She followed her friend into the hall and slammed the door to their small apartment behind her.

S oft music piped into the private massage room. Eucalyptus and some other scent she couldn’t name perfumed the air, with a crisp, fresh smell. She hadn’t arranged for a massage, but apparently having a boyfriend who owned an exclusive BDSM club had some advantages. Luis and Gavin had arranged for her to have more than a simple afternoon manicure. They’d bought her an entire spa day and apparently the staff took it upon themselves to arrange one for Shea as well since they’d come together.
A warm curl of happiness glowed in her belly thinking about her Doms.
She shivered and crossed her legs. Thoughts of Luis, naked, with the stern set to his jaw and the deeper tone of voice he used when he dominated her sent liquid straight to her pussy. Her clit throbbed.
Gavin with his gentler way of dominating her, his blonde hair tickling her breasts when he sucked on her nipples.
She, Gavin, and Luis had a date tonight. Dinner together at Gavin’s house. And then...she could only imagine the things they had in store for her.
White, soft, terry cloth brushed across her hard nipples and she shifted in the chair. The nail technician was busy putting her supplies away, and then the masseuse would be in. She’d never had a full body massage before, and didn’t know what to expect.
Gavin hadn’t given her his address, with the excuse that he was coming to pick her up after she got home from her afternoon of pampering. No way to Google and see a picture of his house. She hoped the money he’d spent on the spa package hadn’t set him back much. As a landscaper, he probably didn’t make a lot of money. Maybe he was embarrassed about where he lived. Had to be better than her shitty apartment. Although, things would be a lot worse if she didn’t have Shea to split the rent.
The brunette nail technician, Cindy, carried her tray of supplies to the door. “Have a nice day, Ms. Joye. Your masseuse will be here shortly. Can I get you anything while you wait? Tea, coffee, glass of wine?”
“Oh, no. Thanks though.” Nerves set butterflies to doing loop-de-loops in her belly. “Um, Cindy, I’ve never had a massage before. Am I supposed to get naked and be on the table or what?”
Cindy smiled, a friendly sparkle to her big, brown eyes. “There’s a sheet on the table, and you can cover up with that. Your masseuse will knock before they come in.”
“Okay. Thanks.” Relieved at not being naked with a total stranger, she hung the robe on one of the stainless steel wall hooks near the door.
The service at the spa had been top-notch so far, but every woman she’d seen (save one flamboyant stylist) was tiny. Small hips and waists, flat bellies. Perfect makeup. She was definitely not part of that crowd, with her size twelve jeans and 38 D bra. Consoling herself with thoughts that the masseuse was a professional who saw tons of people naked didn’t help.
She climbed up on the table and considered sitting there facing the door with the sheet pulled up, but decided to lay down on her belly. If she didn’t see the person’s face, it wouldn’t be as embarrassing. Massages were supposed to be relaxing, but this wasn’t really headed that way. She didn’t even know if it was a girl or a guy coming in. Probably a girl. Everyone who worked here was female.
A loud rapping knock sounded on the door.
“Um...come in.” Was she supposed to answer? She adjusted the sheet again so that only her shoulders were exposed
