wanted to. “Is this by chance one way glass? I can see out but no one can see in?”
“Would it make it easier for you if I told you it was?”
    She shrugged. “I guess.”
“Grab the chains, Rebecca and stop stalling.”
His non-answer told her nothing and for some crazy reason she didn’t care. She was so far away from anyone who would know her. Who would care if they saw her chained in front of window? She would be just another woman in a rich man’s apartment. Not Rebecca Adams. No one knew Rebecca Adams.
“Here.” He stepped forward and placed something over her face and blocked her vision. After a second of adjustment she could see again through two eye-holes. “Does this help?”
He’d placed a mask on her face. Not a blindfold so she couldn’t see. For some reason he wanted her to look out the window and probably wonder. But at least this way no one would make out her face.
    “Yes,” she said.
“Good because I need more light.” She heard a click and some of the darkness in the room receded into a warm glow. He lit candles. Their reflection flickered in the window and she could see herself as well as the cityscape below. Mason approached her from behind and pressed against her back as he reached up and fastened first her right wrist and then her left.
“Tug on the cuffs and tell me if they hurt. At some point you’ll be pulling on them.”
Rebecca gave each of them a good pull and while it wasn’t the most comfortable sensation, it did not hurt. “They’re good I think,” she said.
“Perfect. Let’s get started. Legs shoulder width apart, eyes straight ahead, Miss Adams.”
Her knees weakened a little as she realized how truly vulnerable she was at the moment. She pulled again on the cuffs and nothing happened.
“Remember your safeword, Rebecca. Use it if you need it.” The timbre of his voice soothed her, as he reminded her that she did have an automatic safety switch if she needed it.
She focused on some of the lights in the distance to calm her racing heart. Fear of the unknown wasn’t easy to let go. She didn’t have to wait long for Mason to start. Moments later his hands were all over her. Brushing down her sides and across her belly. His effect on her was immediate. Her nipples bunched and her sex moistened until she yearned for more intimate touches. He rubbed her buttocks with a little more force and he even went so far as to spread her bottom and hold her open for a prolonged period of the time.
Finally he released her bottom and she heaved a sigh of relief.
“Look how beautiful you are.” He stared at her reflection in the glass. “Naked and chained up for my pleasure. The mask only adding a layer of mystery. You take my breath away, Miss Adams.”
    “Thank you, Sir,” she whispered.
He smiled at her. “But you are missing one thing.”
She had no idea what he referred to.
He pulled something from his pocket and showed her. “Nipple clamps, baby. I can’t wait to see how you respond to them.”
Rebecca sucked in a breath. She needed to be more careful what she said. He seemed to take her quite literally.
Mason began playing with her nipples, sending a series of hard shudders down her back as he did. The exquisite sensations should have been no big deal. It was just her boobs for Christ’s sake. Except no one had ever taken this much care with her body before. Her refusal to date anyone led to nothing but a series of one-night stands and quick unsatisfying sex. Until she read her sister’s journal, it all meant nothing.
Tears pooled in her eyes as pressure low in her abdomen began to gather the more care Mason took with her.
“Often in a scene such as this, you would be expected to offer your breasts and sometimes ask your Dominant to please place the clamps on your needy little nipples.” He grasped the swollen peaks and rolled them between his fingers. She jerked and swayed slightly closer.
    “In fact, I could see
