to tell you is a decision you and Emily have to decide as did your mother and I.  Nobody can tell you what to do and if you do it, you have to see it through to the end.”
At his father’s words, Jay looked at him confusion so Stan began to talk.  At he talked, the more understanding dawned in Jay’s eyes and amazement.   Jay sat back in the chair as he listened to his father talk, and his eyes flickered through an array of emotions: amazement, excitement, worry, fear, determination, and most of all love that had his green eyes shining brightly like two green orbs.
Stan read it all in his eyes as he t alked, and he was starting to think that everything might work out after all .

At the mall, Sasha had Emily try on dress after dress until she found the one that she thought looked good on her.  Emily looked at herself in the mirror of the dressing room and admitted that it did.  The p each color dress ended a little above her knees with two sets of spaghetti straps.  The dress flowed down her body like a second skin but it was not tight, just snug in what Sasha called “hugging all the right curves” and Emily felt beautiful in it.  She changed back into her clothes and stepped out the changing room seeing Sasha a skin-tight red dress that fell almost to her ankles with a split up the side.  It had thin spaghetti straps on either side holding it on her shoulders, and Emily said, “Mark will love you in that and will want to kill every other man in the room.”  Sasha laughed as she looked at herself in the mirror before heading back into the changing room but not before calling over her shoulder , “True, but he won’t have to worry about one because that one will be focused on you.”  Emily blushed and was glad that Sasha was in the dressing room so that she did not see it.
Next they went shopping for shoes, and as Emily disliked wearing heels, Sasha made a compromise with her to get a pair of flat shoes almost the same tone color as her dress if she allowed her to do her hair and make-up.  Emily did not have a choice so she agreed as they picked out a pair of shoes for Sasha.  Sasha wanted to go with a basic red or black high heel until Emily saw cute little sandals that were black with a little red rose in the center and it strapped around the ankle.  Sasha did not think twice but picked them up.
“See you are not bad at this,” she said laughing as they paid and Emily rolled her eyes.
They were heading out of the mall when they bumped into someone coming in .
“Hi Sasha…Emily,” Victoria said catching their attention and she was with three other women all werewolves according to Sasha’s senses.  She did not have to say anything to Emily because she was starting to learn to read expressions very well.
“So Emily, do you think you have a shot with my mate?  I mean, you are a human and he is werewolf.  He cannot be protecting you all the time once he becomes Alpha,” Victoria said as her eyes gleamed and Emily looked at her intently, and then she had a flash.

Victoria and her cronies were walking into the house and Emily could hear the music all around her.
“Did you hear, Victoria, that Alpha Caine has picked four female members of h is pack to see if they are the mate of his oldest son to become Alpha Female,” her friend Sally gushed and Victoria laughed as she saw Ar nold, her mate and future Alpha, standing by his father .
“What has that got to do with me?  I am already in line for Alpha Female once my mate takes over the pack,” Victoria said winking at her mate.
“You really do not know,” Sally said stopping in her tracks that Victoria turned around and glared at her.
“Victoria, Jay is th e next in line for Alpha,” Sally said.
“What?” Victoria said and Sally explained, “Yeah, Jay Caine, the oldest son of Alpha Stan Caine.  Didn’t you say that he thought you two were mates?”  Victoria nodded her head as she smiled widely at the
