something in your stomach you’ll be sick for a different reason. Wild Turkey,” she scoffed. “You could’ve at least gotten drunk on something decent.”
“Oh, God,” Tag covered his mouth. “Please don’t mention it.”
Nodding, Nicole helped him under the covers. Even hung-over, her nearness had his cock filling. She giggled again and shook her head. “Rest. I’ll be right back.”
Tag watched her ass as she walked out of the room. Thursday, so at least he hadn’t missed her competition. He thought of the last few days and the myriad of emotions he’d gone through. The one thing that had stayed true throughout was his love for his angel.
Nicole was back in no time carrying a tray of food. “I made you some dry toast as well.” She set the food down on the bedside table and lifting the bowl of soup. Sitting next to him on the bed, Nicole slowly fed him the first spoonful. He was surprised how easily the hot liquid went down.
    “It’s good,” he said.
“Thanks. It was my momma’s recipe. My daddy showed me how to make it when I was still a child. I’ll teach you when you’re feeling better.”
After finishing the bowl, Tag put his hand on Nicole’s thigh. “Will you lay with me?”
    “Depends. You stayin’ or goin’?”
“Get naked and under the covers with me and I’ll tell you,” Tag answered. He pulled back the covers, exposing his aroused state.
With a blush on her cheeks, Nicole quickly got undressed. “I thought you told me today was Thursday?”
    “Yeah, I did.”
“Then why are you wearing Saturday’s panties?”
Nicole looked down and covered her mouth. “I swear I’m going to get rid of this underwear. I usually just grab a pair out of the drawer and don’t give it a second thought. It’s only times like this when I question my panty choosing wisdom.”
“Throw them out, throw them all out. I like you much better bare-assed anyway.” Tag reached out and pulled Nicole on top of him. “You feel good.”
“I do?” The wicked woman began rubbing her soft pussy against Tag’s cock. “Talk to me,” she said settling down.
Tag rolled to his side and fit Nicole’s body to his. “What do you want to know first?”
“What made you shut yourself in this house for three days?”
“Memories. Pictures.” Tag thought of the hundreds of pictures of him strewn throughout the house. It was almost like his father had created a shrine to his lost son.
“Do you believe what I told you? About Mr. Barrett searching for you?” Nicole circled his nipple with the tip of her finger.
“I saw the files,” Tag admitted. “Stacks and stacks of reports. My father spent thousands of dollars and the lawyers weren’t able to locate me until after his death. He died alone, in this house.” Tag looked around the bedroom. “I’ve spent the last few days trying to figure out why.”
Nicole tried to run her fingers through his hair, but it was so tangled and greasy she made a face and cupped his cheek instead. “You’ll never know the answer to that question. I think the main thing is for you to forgive your parents and yourself. You were a child and you had to believe the adults in your life. In your case, your mother did what she felt she needed to do.”
“Unless my father was some kind of monster why would she try and keep me from him?”
“Maybe she was afraid he’d take you away from her. Look at this house, Tag. Your father was a very wealthy man. Maybe your mom loved you so much that even the thought of being separated from you drove her into hiding.”
“I never thought of it that way,” Tag admitted. He looked into Nicole’s green eyes. “You’re a very wise woman. How’d I get so lucky?”
“Luck had nothing to do with it, it was the Harley,” she joked.
Rolling over, Tag insinuated himself between Nicole’s thighs and kissed her. She gave a slight push to his shoulders and broke the kiss. “I love you,” she said. “More than you’ll ever know,
