any further and soon it was time for everyone to go home.
Our neighbors would come over early to get their kids, so we didn’t want to make it too late of a night. Neil and Jana gathered their stuff and I saw them to the gate to say goodnight. Dave waved his goodbyes and took Jay inside to dry off and change back into his clothes. Neil gave me a hearty hug at the gate, and came dangerously close to grabbing my ass. I let it go because I knew it was due to Jana’s flirting, and I was pretty horny anyway, and it felt good. I may have even rubbed my wet, bikini-clad body against him just to tease. I could almost picture the charged, angry sex they would be having when they got home.
I patted myself dry with a towel and walked into the house to find Jay walking out of our downstairs bathroom and Dave nowhere in sight. Jay carried the board shorts and his wet underwear.
“Oh, hey, what do you want me to do with these?” he asked, holding out Dave’s shorts.
    “Here, I’ll take them.”
I took the shorts and almost grabbed his underwear too. He followed me through to the laundry room, where I threw the shorts into a basket, and when I turned around I ran right into him. He instinctively held my arms and for an electrifying second we were pressed together. He felt like solid granite under those clothes and it made my heart pound to know he felt as good as he looked. I’d always been able to appreciate a good looking guy, but it was different now that I had permission to play with them as I wished.
It just wasn’t innocent admiration anymore, because when dirty thoughts crept into my mind it wasn’t just abstract anymore. If I was out and I saw a hot guy, my husband actually wanted me to slip them my number. That didn’t apply with Jay—maybe—but that didn’t stop those thoughts and feelings from coming.
“Sorry. I didn’t realize you were right there,” I said.
“Just wanted to thank you for having me today. Your house is awesome and the food was great,” Jay said. Neither of us had moved. The towel was draped over my shoulders, but I felt almost nude so close to this man in my bikini.
“You’re welcome. I’m glad you came. We love to have people over. The more the merrier.”
    “Well, you’re a great hostess.”
“You have to say that. I’m your boss’s wife.”
I don’t know why I needed to remind him of that, it just felt important in that moment. I realized I was trembling slightly. Where was Dave? It was insane, but now I was sure he was setting me up with Jay. Did Jay know about our arrangement, or did Dave expect me to seduce him? It pissed me off to think he would do something like this without talking to me first. I didn’t want all the guys on his crew to think I was some kind of a whore. But in my anger, I thought I should really make Dave pay. If I was going to sleep with his employee, I should make it memorable. Jay still held my shoulders and I put my hands on his arms.
“I didn’t say it because I had to. I said it because I appreciate all your hard work today. You can be my boss’s wife and a great hostess.”
I stared up into his dark eyes and didn’t know what to say. I didn’t want to say anything. I really just wanted to kiss him.
“Hey, where are you guys?” Dave called out. He came down the hallway from the kitchen to the laundry room and I jerked away from Jay like he’d shocked me. Jay turned toward my husband.
“Dana was just getting rid of the wet things,” Jay said.
“She hates a mess,” Dave said.
“I should probably get going and let you two get to bed.”
“What are you saying? I’m old?” Dave joked. “Or do you have some honey waiting on you?”
Jay laughed. “I’m not calling you old, man.”
We walked Jay to the front door and as we said our goodbyes I gave Jay a hug. He had to practically bend in half and he still nearly lifted me off of my feet. I kissed his cheek—close to what I really wanted to do. Dave closed the door behind
