slammed in to his mate harder and faster as her channel clamped down on him. Once he was fully drained, he rolled to one side so he wouldn’t collapse on top of his small female.
“Are you alright?” He asked once the power of speech returned to him.
“That was amazing.” Bernie praised and he felt incredible.
You are the most amazing and desirable female I’ve ever met.” He assured her truthfully. She was more than he’d ever imagined he would get and he was never letting her go. Pulling her into his arms he kissed her tenderly. It was a reassuring kiss to tell her she was loved. What they had was so much more than sex, it was soul deep.

Epilogue

Bernie smiled almost too happy for words. The house was finished and Glendar and she had done almost every bit of the work themselves. It was a labor of love and it showed. Everyone in the family was here to celebrate. All ten brothers, the other two mates, Glendar’s parents and a handful of friends that had come with various family members. Bernie hadn’t got around much yet so she only knew family members.
“Oh excuse me. I’m so sorry!” A lovely blonde haired and blue eyed female holding a beautiful young girl squealed.
“That’s alright, it was my fault. I didn’t know anyone was here. I’m Bernie.”
“I’m Ernesta. Maxar invited me but I shouldn’t have come. Shandra doesn’t do well at gatherings.”
“She’s just shy. Come with me.” She said and led the way to a room in the back of the house. It was a playroom and was full of some exceptional toys. There were even built in slides and monkey bars and the floor underneath was cushioned. Shandra took off and started playing immediately. “Let’s sit down over here and we can have a drink while we watch her play. I’m afraid there aren’t any kids yet, but there will be soon.”
    “Oh, are you expecting?”
“I don’t think so, not yet anyway. My sisters will be coming here as soon as we can make arrangements. How old is Shandra? I have a sister who is ten. Maybe they can play together?”
“Shandra is eight but that’s close enough. It’s hard on her not having any friends her age. Sometimes I wonder if I made a mistake coming here.”
“Did you come here to mate?”
“Oh, goodness no. My husband died and I went to mechanical training. I work with Maxar at the factory. I’m the head mechanic. It pays well and I need to support my baby. It’s just that I worry about giving her a family life, friends, and all those other things.”
“You sound like you’re doing all you can and you are too hard on yourself. One of my sisters in on her way now and the others will be here in the next few months. She’ll have someone to play with then. Aren’t there also other children with the families that came when the skilled workers got here?”
“There are some but there’s no school or place for them to meet. The child care is with individuals in their home so the kids never see each other.”
“That sounds like something we need to work on.”
“I wish someone would. I’d better drag my girl out of here. Morning comes early and I work tomorrow.”
“It was lovely meeting you, Ernesta.”
“Glad to meet you too, Bernie.”
“Maybe you can come to one of our girl nights. You can bring Shandra too.”
“I’d love that. Thanks for everything.” Ernesta grabbed her little girl’s hand and dragged the reluctant child out of a dream play place.
As Bernie watched her leave, strong warm arms wrapped around her from behind. “I’ve looked everywhere for my mate and I find you in a child’s play room. Are you trying to tell me something?”
    Bernie giggled. “Like what?”
“Hmm, like maybe there’s a little Bernie growing in here?”
    “Do you think it’s possible?”
“Shouldn’t you know before I do, Mate?” He rumbled and the vibration felt good.
    “I’m not sure.”
“It would be a welcome announcement on the heels of the one Travlr just
