he yelled as he
speared into me harder, deeper until his cock spasmed, pumping spurts of hot
fluid into me. He rested his face against my shoulder and held me to him as his
body continued to shake.
    What seemed like minutes passed
with only the sound of our breathing filling the room. Finally, he withdrew.
“Are you okay?” He stretched out
next to me and reached out to rub my back.
I turned toward him and molded my
body against his. “That was…it was. I’ve never felt like that before.”
The sound of his laughter warmed
me, and he stroked my hair gently and placed a kiss on my forehead. “Mmm…good.
When you’re ready I want to make you feel so much more.”
“You mean you want to share me?”
    “No. I mean, I don’t know. Is
that what you want?”
    “Maybe.”
“Maybe isn’t an answer, Lo. This
is all or nothing. You have to be sure.”
My body tingled with fear and
excitement as I contemplated the thought. “I want to try,” I whispered.
    Parker exhaled loudly and pulled
me against his chest. “I don’t know if I can, and I don’t want you to feel
pressured. The thought…hmm,” he paused contemplating his next words, “The
thought of you like that makes me fucking crazy with lust and crazy with
jealousy. It makes me want to protect you and push you to your limits. It’s a
huge fucking conflict, Lo, but if you decide you’re ready…maybe...”
    “Okay,” I replied, thankful that
he couldn’t see the sleepy smile that spread across my lips at the thought of
my bad boy crazy with lust and jealousy over me.  My bad boy. I almost giggled
out loud. For just this moment everything in the world felt right. Warm and
sleepy and completely sated, I curled comfortably into him.
“Now we need to get some sleep. I
have a special surprise for you tomorrow, and I want you to be well rested for
it.”
“Mmm hmm.” I stopped fighting my
heavy eyelids and drifted off to sleep in his arms.

Nine
    FULL OF SURPISES

When my eyes opened again it was
morning. I peeled my cheek from Parker’s chest and blinked up at him to discover
he’d was watching me. I wasn’t sure how long he’d been awake, but he seemed amused
when our eyes met, and I immediately buried my face in the blankets letting out
a long groan. The brief glimpse of his warm smile, so full of bad boy charm
first thing in the morning, had me secretly smiling, too.
He laughed, and stroked my hair.
His sexy masculine voice resonated through my body. “Good morning, pretty girl.”
“Good morning,” I mumbled still hiding
my face against him.
    “I’m learning something new about
you every day,” he said playfully.
“What is that supposed to mean?”
I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face if I wanted to.
He lifted my face to look at me.
“You, Lauren St. John, are not a morning person. We’ll have to work on that,
but you never know. I could get used to this, too.”
    He looked so irresistible, his
eyes sparkling, his hair tousled, and those dimples. Hmm, he could get used
to this, huh? His hand moved from my hair down to the bare skin of my side,
pushing the blanket down as he slowly tickled my sensitive skin. I squirmed and
my nipples hardened against his body.
“Mmm…I could stay in this bed
with you all day, and if you don’t stop that I just might.” As he spoke he
reached down and adjusted the tent that had formed in the sheet from his
arousal.
Giggling, I sat up to face him
and felt suddenly aware of my nakedness. The playful mood turned serious as our
eyes locked together. His tongue flickered over his bottom lip as his eyes trailed
over my body down to where the blankets stopped. He reached out and traced my
jawline, gently continuing down my neck, between my breasts, down my belly
before stopping and hooking his finger into the edge of the blankets. Just like
that, I was about to come undone. My entire body was sending a silent message, “Don’t
stop!” But suddenly he did, and I wanted to scream. Noticing
