to find out?”
    YES!
“No. Simon, we can’t,” I replied pulling away from him.
“Tell me why,” he breathed, pulling me back to him.
“Because I just had almost sex with Finley and if I have actual sex with you right now, I’ll feel ... wrong. No offense,” I said, pulling away again.
“Eden...” he said, reaching for me again.
I pulled further away and he turned me around and held me against the kitchen wall, looking into my eyes. I could tell that Simon was ready to go, in every sense of the word possible.
“I have something I want to give you,” he said quietly.
    I know. That’s the problem.
He reached into his back pocket and handed me a folded piece of paper.
    “Read this,” he said.
I took the paper, my hands shaking, and unfolded it. It was a confirmation of sorts. As I scanned it I gasped, and put a hand to my mouth.
    “Simon!” I exclaimed.
    He smiled at me, “Happy?”
I felt the tears well up in my eyes. I was holding my escape. My getaway from myself; my mundane, simple, monotonous life.
“Why?” I asked, looking up at him.
“Because I thought what better place for us to stop being mates,” he replied with a grin.
I looked down at the sheet again and saw a confirmation for two first class tickets to Maui.
He finally backed up and crossed his arms over his chest. I looked up at him and leaned up on my tip toes and kissed him softly on his lips.
    “Thank you,” I said softly.
His face was red and he looked shy. I watched Simon look down at his feet and shuffle them.
“You’re welcome,” he said to the floor.
I handed him the papers back and went to sit in the window. I grabbed my phone and sent Liora a text message.
Remember how I said to keep your fucking friend away from me?
Yeah. Sorry, is he bothering you again?
No. He’s taking me to Hawaii!
    WHAT?!
You’re a great friend. Thanks! I’ll be holding on to this one!
    Get him girl!! :)
“So when do we leave?” I asked him putting the phone down.
    “In two days.”
“Two days?” I asked in disbelief.
“Don’t worry. I’ve already spoken to your manager and he’s given you the time off. I was hoping you’d come around by then otherwise I’d have just let you go with Liora,” he replied with a grin.
“You gave me a week?” I asked, staring at him.
“Well by then I would have hoped you would’ve seen that I’m quite a charming young man and that I’m fun to be around. At least that’s what I’ve been told.”
“Yeah, you’re a pretty good deal,” I said, tilting my head at him.
“Good. Then let’s get you packed and then you can come to my place and we can hang out there until it’s time to go. Sound good?” he asked, walking into the bedroom.
“Hey you! I told you that was off limits!” I said playfully following him in.
“For sex,” he corrected. “And I’ve respected that so far. I can come in here for any other reason, can’t I?”
I stood in the doorway and watched Simon. A deliciously, devious thought was forming in my head.
    “Simon?”
    “Yes?
    “Define sex.”
He reached into my closet and began pulling out clothes. “Sex is a physical expression of how two people feel about each other. It can be between a male and a female, a male and a male, or a female and a female. Usually some form of penetration is involved until all senses are blown to hell and both parties are laying there in pools of sweat and their fluids. Why do you ask?”
“So, if I did this,” I said walking over to him and grabbing his still swollen manhood from behind, “would this be considered sex?”
Simon was frozen, still half bent over.
“Depends on what you’d be doing with it after, I suppose,” he said quietly.
“What if I start with this?” I asked, rubbing him gently.
“Careful Eden. Or we may not make it to Hawaii,” he said breathing deeply.
I turned him around and shoved him against the bedroom wall. He looked down at me with a serious look on his face as I unzipped
