    When they were finally alone Lexi ventured a conversation.
    “Are you alright?” she asked wearily.
    He gave her a sidelong glance. “Deposit devices don’t do that,” he said grumpily.
    Lexi couldn’t help it, she laughed. And laughed. She laughed so hard, tears began to stream down her face and she got a stitch in her side.
    “Are you finished?” Raedyn asked when she finally calmed. She let off a few small chuckles before answering.

    “I’m glad you could find amusement in my embarrassment.”
    Lexi flinched and Raedyn felt shame at his harsh words. In actuality the night had been the most erotic of his life. He never came that hard with a retrieval device.
