her feminine scent, and saw that she kept every single one of his notes, he knew that she would be his. She enjoyed the attention and the compliments. Her feelings for him were just as strong, and someday soon they would be together.
He drove by her house and saw that she wasn’t there either. Where could she be? Who was she with?
He felt that tight, nagging sensation in his gut. She couldn’t be. She wouldn’t be with them. Did those two fucking assholes trick her? She was so naïve. God, she needed to be taught a lesson. She needed someone who could take care of her and protect her from men like that. He slammed his fist down on the steering wheel then gripped it tight. He felt his jaw ache from clenching his teeth. He felt so fucking angry he could kill them with his bare hands.
He drove toward their estate. That was what it was like, a fucking estate. They had so much money between the two of them from their families that they didn’t even need to work. Fucking sick fucks they were. They bedded the best-looking women in town. They were with Marla last. That was what he heard around town. They played their games with her and used her just like the others. Well, they weren’t going to get Paula.
As he approached, he nearly flew off the edge, his anger getting the better of him. Her car was parked in their long driveway. He could see the black color and knew it was hers.
Something had to be done and quickly. He sped off down the road. He needed to remain calm. He had to be smart about this. If he acted without thinking, then he would get caught. No, he needed a big distraction, something that would get them to stay away from Paula. That would take some time to plan. He was ready to start that plan today. He knew that Paula wanted him. She kept his letters in her bedside drawer. She wants me.
Carefully and quietly, he hid his truck and entered the grounds of the estate. Just a little message, a hint as to what would come if they pursued his woman. He walked toward the shed, located near the detached garage. If he set this on fire, then it would spread to the garage, destroying all the things inside of it. He went to work then quickly escaped through the trees and back to his truck. He smiled.
Now they will know who’s boss. Now they will realize that Paula belongs to me.

“I don’t understand why you wanted me to come here. I have to be at work soon,” Paula stated as she held her keys in her hand and stood in their front entranceway. Matt and Tyler’s home was stunning.
“We need to talk, and being at your place won’t work. Come sit down,” Matt told her, and she slowly walked into the living room. Matt could tell that she was nervous. She gripped her key chain with the little pink pig on it. Her nails were colored pink, and her short floral skirt had bits of pink in it, too. It matched her lacy black camisole. She looked beautiful, especially with her cowgirl boots on.
She took a seat, and Matt sat down next to her.
“Tyler will be in shortly. He got a call from work that he had to take.”
She looked around the room. He knew it was very masculine with bold, deep earth tones and some color of sage green and burgundy. The woodwork was intricate and made by his hands in his free time. Owning the small construction business was just a side job to stay busy.
She stirred a bit at the mention of Tyler joining them. He reached over and touched her bare knee. Her legs were crossed, and she still held her keychain in her hands.
He placed his other arm over the backside of the couch behind her shoulders. She stared at him like a doe caught in headlights.
    “What is it?” she asked.
He moved his hand over her skirt to her fingers and turned her hand over to reveal the little pink pig and her keys.
“Got a thing for little pink pigs or just pink in general?” he asked as he touched the pink pig then her fingers.
He moved a little closer to her. “I want to kiss you.” Her lips
