I’d have to do. Tracey had told me I’d have to entertain a few politicians…he surely looked like one.
“ Hello, I’m Doctor Charles,” he said. “From the look on your face, I guess Ms. Dottie didn’t tell you I was coming today.”
I loosened up a bit, and was finally able to speak. “No…no, she didn’t,” I replied, looking Ms. Dottie in her face.
“ Be nice,” she instructed, pushing Doctor Charles’ small stool inside the door. “See you at the meeting,” she added, shutting the door on her way out.
Alone with Doctor Charles, I felt bare, even though I was half-naked anyway. I was confused. Not sure whether he had showed up for a good time or to offer his services, I asked,
“ What’s this all about? I mean, that throw up thing last night was just ‘cause I couldn’t stop coughing.”
    “ Oh really?” He laughed.
    “ Yeah, really.”
“ Well, Candice, what if I told you I didn’t know anything about you throwing up?” he asked, bending down to take several instruments from his bag.
I looked at him strangely, as he placed the items on a white towel that covered the small coffee table. When he pulled out what looked like an instrument, probably used to give an abortion, I panicked.
“ Well, what are you here for? And are all of those for me?” I pointed.
“ I have to give you an exam to see if you’re clean. You know Daddy’s clients spend a great deal of money in here, so it’s my job to make sure you don’t harm them. Have you been naughty?” He laughed, slipping his gloves on. “Tell me now, before we get started.”
“ Hell yeah I’m clean. What you tryna say?”
He laughed again. “That’s what they all say. Trust me, I’ll be back next week to help you clear up your yeast infection or some nasty drip.”
I wanted to slap the shit outta him, but it wasn’t worth it. He wasn’t paying me no mind anyway. If I didn’t know better, I’d think I was really in a doctor’s office, by the number of medical items he’d pulled out his bag. He stood like he was ready to perform surgery, as he pulled out several clear 2x2 plastic containers. “Now take your underwear off and lay back,” he instructed.
“ Where?” I asked, looking around the room.
“ Where else…on the bed silly.”
“ Waitttttttt,” I stuttered. “Are you a real doctor? Like you went to school and all that?” I asked, backing up toward the bed.
“ Yes, and all that,” he responded sarcastically. “Now, let’s get started. I get paid by the hour. You definitely don’t want to get on Daddy’s bad side already, newbie.” He grinned, as I took my thongs off and laid flat on the bed.
“ A little bit wider.” He smiled and moved toward the end of the bed, pulling the stool over at the same time. Instantly, my nose was flooded with the smell of vinegar and other sanitizing smells.
I spread my legs a lil’ more, uneasy about his touch. His hands were unbelievably warm. They moved about my body seductively, from the top of my thighs to the bottom of my ass. When he whisked past my pubic hairs, like he was looking for something, I almost lost it. I’d never had an exam where the doctor rubbed and prodded as much as this clown did. He asked me a few lame questions, like when was my last period, and how many sex partners I’d had in the last five years. When I told him two…he almost fell off the stool.
    “ No…seriously?” he asked.
“ I am serious,” I replied, as my eyes rolled toward the ceiling. Surely I lied with a straight face.
Before I knew it, he’d pulled out the speculum, and proceeded to give me a pap smear. I wanted to yell out so someone could be in the room with me, but I’d already performed the night before. So I laid back and prayed Ms. Dottie would come back in. Soon, Doctor Charles was done with phase one. He stood up like he’d just got a nut. His constant grinning made me sick. The way he squirted the gel on his finger made me think he was really
