    After Tommy removed the straps circling her body, he helped her into her robe and then she led him to the spa area, Serenity. Entering the pool room of the spa, the scent of chlorine and florals met her nose. “I love the smell of the flowers, but I really don’t care for the bleachy edge on it,” she said, removing her robe and tossing it on a lounge chair.
    “It doesn’t bother me,” Tommy replied, removing his clothes and taking her hand to help her into the hot tub. “Growing up in Indiana, I’m used to swimming pools and such. We had a great pool at our house when I was a kid. Spent most of my summer in the water.”
    Crystal settled into one of the molded seats in the hot tub and clicked the button to set the water roiling with bubbles. The jets kicked in, massaging her body with bubbling air and water. She leaned her head back and let her arms float freely just below its surface. “You must still spend a lot of time outside by the looks of your tan. Or do you use a tanning bed?”
    Tommy lounged in the hot tub facing her from the other side. “I like the outdoors. I get outside as often as possible.”
    She smiled at him, so comfortable with this man it almost spooked her. “What is it about you that trips up my heart so much?”
    He grinned and stroked her arm. “Maybe you’ve met your match.”
    “Do you think so? Because I have to tell you, I’ve never had a really good intimate relationship with a man. You, on the other hand, are a dilemma to me.” She leaned forward, swinging her legs around so that her feet touched the bottom of the hot tub. “I don’t know if it’s the confidence I sense in you or if it’s just the way you look and move, but you definitely have gotten under my skin. Being with you makes me think it is actually possible to have a solid relationship with a man.”
    He took her hand in his, weaving his fingers through hers. “Do you think being with me, exclusively, would be enough for you? I get the feeling most of your life you’ve only fallen for other women. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing bad about being bisexual, but have you ever thought about getting married, or having children? I mean, with someone like me?”
    Crystal looked deeply into his warm, brown eyes. “Are you proposing?”
