become. She panted and moaned helplessly. Damn it. She had to come. She couldn’t stand it anymore. “Yessss,” she hissed and they immediately rewarded her.
The fingers holding her nipple tightened, the thick finger in her bottom pushed deep. Chase sucked her clit into his mouth and she screamed. Her body stiffened in shock and ecstasy as her orgasm hit her with a force of a tornado. She spun out of control, lost in the storm, feeling nothing and everything as her senses whirled.
A deep underlying sense of security let her soar, safe in the knowledge that Boone and Chase would take care of her. She flew high and far before slowing, finally coming to rest and landing softly, surrounded by heat, low voices and soothing hands.
“We love you, sugar.” Rachel felt Chase’s lips on her abdomen, where their baby grew.
“Don’t,” she protested weakly. “You love the baby, not me. That’s fine, just don’t lie to me.”
Boone lifted her to sit on his lap, holding her gently.
“Don’t get upset, baby. If you want us to stop saying it for now, we will.” He lifted her face to his. “But it’s still true. We’ll just have to convince you.” He smiled tenderly. Her eyes widened when she saw that his hands shook. His erection pressed against her bottom and she knew how aroused he’d become.
She looked at the front of Chase’s jeans and saw the huge bulge pressing against his zipper. He started gathering her clothes, wincing when he saw that her bra and panties had been destroyed.
“Sorry, Rach. You’ll have to do without until we get home. Everything’s already packed.”
“Listen, maybe—” she began.
“No.” Boone shook his head and stood, setting her on her feet. “You can’t keep climbing up and down those stairs. What if you fell? What happens when you’re too tired when you come home from work to fix something to eat?”
Boone handed her the khakis they’d removed. “We’re the fathers of that baby you’re carrying and it’s our responsibility, our pleasure ,” he added when she would have interrupted, “to take care of both of you.”
With her pants fastened, Boone helped her into her shirt. “If you don’t want to talk about how we feel about you right now, we won’t.” He held her face in his hands. “But you’re crazy if you think we’re leaving you here alone or that you’re going to push us out of your life.”
After she slipped on her shoes and grabbed her purse, Chase turned her toward the door and swatted her bottom. “We’re in your life to stay, and the sooner you get used to that, the better it will be for all of us.”
Rachel stood with her hands on her hips and regarded them both steadily as they gathered her suitcases. Living with them would be like a dream come true in some ways, and a constant strain in others. She didn’t trust their abrupt change of heart which only occurred when they’d learned about the baby. She hadn’t lied when she’d told them that she didn’t want to hear any declarations of love from them. It was hard enough dealing with her feelings for them, and now with a baby on the way, she had even more to adjust to.
“This is hard for me,” she told them softly. “I’m having a baby. I have to hire help for the store now, when I’m used to taking care of it myself.” She looked at them both pleadingly, her eyes begging them to understand. “Now you want me to move in with you. My whole life is changing all at once for two men who told me not too long ago that they didn’t want a commitment.”
“Rachel—” Boone began.
“No. I don’t want to hear all about how you fell in love with me.” She glared at them. “It only happened after you learned about the baby.”
“Enough!” Boone dropped the suitcases and strode toward her, gripping her upper arms. “We’ve admitted we made a mistake with you. We compared you to someone who’s nothing like you, and that was wrong. We were wrong.” He leaned down until his
