as she quivered in delight.
Even as it seemed they drank her life away and a touch of fear speared through her, a deeper, darker pleasure slid alongside it. They could indeed make it pleasurable. Ecstasy shot to her core, flooded it.
Darkness closed around her vision. With a blissful sigh, she let it take her.
Julian and Nico drank until Rafi went limp – until they were, if not sated, at least not so very hungry. Julian cradled her against him. Nico licked the wound in her wrist closed as he looked at Julian.
Worried, Nico said, “Did we take too much?”
When she’d reached out for him, offered herself to him, those turbulent blue eyes softening, something inside him had…shifted.
He’d watched her face as he’d bit down, as her hot blood gushed into his mouth. Looking into her blue eyes, he could see she’d known, been aware of him, had felt his teeth pierce her, his mouth on her, deliriously sucking in great drafts of her blood. She’d enjoyed it, her pretty lips parting, her eyelids drifting closed over those beautiful eyes.
If Julian was right, if she could take them both, they could pleasure her in many ways. They would give her whatever she wanted.
Nico wanted her now in another way. With his hunger eased, other needs arose. Now though, was not the time.
Taking a breath, lifting Rafi into his arms, Julian shook his head.
“I don’t think so. Not now. The first few days will be the hardest. We must drain her fairly deeply. Not so much that her veins collapse but enough that her body compensates. In a few weeks I believe she’ll feed us both with ease. We simply have to condition her to it.”
It might be pleasant. He hoped it would be and would try to make it so. He hoped she wouldn’t change her mind.
Gently, he brushed a kiss over her pale forehead.
“I like her, Julian,” Nico said.
He remembered her bright laughter as she’d come in the door, her compassion at his need.
There had been some - many - over the centuries who hadn’t been as kind as she. He would bear the scars of that forever.
If he’d suffered, how much more had Julian, who bore greater and deeper scars than his?
Then there was Rafi.
In only a moment he’d fallen in love with those clear blue eyes.
Julian looked at the woman in his arms, her lovely eyes closed. He’d fallen in love with her the moment she’d laughed.
They had indeed chosen well. He thought they would all suit each other very well. Very well indeed.
“As do I, Nico,” Julian answered softly.
Chapter Five
There were far worse ways to wake up than with two hard, warm sexy male bodies pressed against her to keep her warm, Rafi thought. Many, many worse ways, especially since both seemed to be cuddlers, unusual in men these days. For once she hadn’t awakened alone. Julian had an arm around her, his hand cupped around her breast and a leg curled around one of hers as she snuggled back against him. Her head was pillowed on Nico’s arm with Nico’s hand on her hip, his cheek against her hair.
She was also very naked, one of her favorite ways to be.
So were they.
That had its pleasures too. She sighed happily as she enjoyed the view. She’d suspected they were very well-built, nicely muscled men beneath their clothes, their muscles toned, their bodies fit.
She’d been more than right.
From what she could see of the exposed skin beneath tangled sheets, bodies and limbs, they were beautiful. Of the two Julian was the more solidly muscled, the curves of his chest deeper, more pronounced, while Nico was leaner. Both had excellent pecs, taut abs and long, muscular legs.
Julian’s breath was warm against her throat.
Speaking of which…
Rafi did a quick mental assessment. She’d expected to feel a little weak, a little headachy, but there was nothing. She felt fine. She was alive. She’d taken the leap and survived.
Again.
A thrill went through her as she remembered the two of them feeding on her the night before. In an instant
