days with Violet. Marco told me he ’ d continue to stay at the guest house and keep a
eye on things.
        When I
arrived at Tammy`s she told me that Lizzie had called to say that Simon and
Victoria`s plane had just landed. I was nervous and excited at the same time.
An hour later I could hear voices outside. Lizzie had just
arrived.  I went to open the door to greet them; I certainly wasn ’ t prepared for the shock of seeing Victoria
heavily pregnant. Simon hadn ’ t said anything on
the phone or in his letters. I tried to hide my feelings as I greeted them both
with a hug.
Simon looked really   pleased to see me, we both hugged and he gave me
a kiss on the cheek, my heart was pounding, I hadn ’ t   had those tingles down my spine for such a long time.
I made everyone some tea, and asked Victoria when her baby
was due. She said.
       “ Another four months
yet, I know I look bigger for my weeks. ”   I noticed she wasn't her bubbly self and
seemed rather hostile towards me, or was I imagining it.
Simon looked rather awkward as Victoria threw him some
dirty looks.
Tammy had made food for everyone, lamb chops, mashed potato
and mushy peas and there was lots of wine to wash it all down. We  sat there
for ages and talked about what we had done over the past two years.
Marco had decided to spend a few hours with Violet and had
taken her to the zoo. I couldn ’ t wait for him to
bring her back so she could meet Simon. When Marco`s car pulled up, Simon went
to great him outside and took Violet out of her car seat. She gave a big smile
and asked in a sweet voice.
        “ Who are you? ”
“ I ’ m your uncle Simon. ” he said to her, she giggled happily. Victoria
didn ’ t even bother to go
over to see her. Marco didn ’ t stay very long; he
said he had too much to do and left.
I quickly bathed Violet and put her to bed; Simon came in
to the bedroom and said.
       “ You look wonderful
Bella and violet is beautiful, just like her mother. ” I felt myself blush.
       “ Simon, what ’ s wrong with Victoria. ” I asked.
“ Don't ask. We haven ’ t been getting on lately. ” He replied.   I laughed and said.
“ Marco and I aren ’ t getting on either, we hardly ever see each
other anymore; and there is practically no communication what so ever. ”
We were sat by Violet ’ s cot, I glanced at her, she was sucking her
thumb, as she drifted off to sleep. Simon was really close to me and I could
smell his aftershave; the spark between us was electrifying. Why did he have to
be my brother, well half-brother, either way we were still blood related. Simon
seemed to know me so well, why do I feel like this about my own brother,
life isn ’ t fair sometimes. I thought to myself; I was sure he felt the
same.
We left Violet ’ s room and went downstairs. I felt really tired so I bid
everyone goodnight and went to bed.  As I lay there drifting off to sleep, I
kept on thinking about Simon and what it would feel like to feel his lips on
mine.
          The next morning
after a good night sleep. Marco called and told me the painters had arrived,
and the carpets would be laid the next day. Lizzie and I helped Tammy make
breakfast, and we decided to sit in the garden to eat it as it was such a
lovely day. Simon came down looking as sexy as ever, and gave us all a kiss on
the cheek. Victoria just about managed to mumble morning to us all.
    Lizzie looked at me.
“ What ’ s up with her?" She whispered.
“ Could be her hormones. ”
Lizzie informed us that James wasn ’ t going to come to the wedding, because he
couldn ’ t leave the
restaurant,
       “ To be honest I ’ m glad, he ’ s been really moody lately. ”
    I laughed and said.
       “ It must be something
in the water; what with Marco and Victoria, and now James.   Maybe the three of them should live together,
and be miserable. ” I said
sarcastically.
" Maybe I should pull Victoria to one
