six foot seven with
muscles in places she didn’t even know existed. She reached down a wrapped the
heavy chain around her claw filled hand and yanked it from the wall.
“ Gray , get the dart gun!” Timothy called
back, watching Sky come closer to the doors of the cage.
“Hurry Gray ,” Tory ushered with her hands.
“Give it to me.” Then held it up to her shoulder as Sky was reaching for the
bars of the cage and pulled the trigger.
Sky backed up, looking down at her fur covered chest and pulled the
empty dart out. She threw her head back and let every person in the club above
them know she was in the basement, by letting out the first howl of her beast. Sky’s
body started to tingle as soon as drug entered her blood stream, dropping her
wolf form to its knees. Her eyes became heavy as she fell forward, never once
reaching out to soften the blow of hitting the hard cement floor. Sky’s body
began to change back to its former self once she was out, and she now lay nude
with tidbits of what was left of the clothes she’d
had on, her body now completely healed.

Anthony believed Kayla and drove back to his house and waited for
her to show up. He heard her car before he saw it and met her out in the driveway.
She told him what part she’d overheard about Tory faking being hit by Timothy
and moving Sky to Stack’s place, where Timothy was
going to have his men waiting to take care of him. It was in the midst of their
conversation that Anthony put his hand up to tell Kayla to be silent, while he
held his head to the side, closing his eyes like he was trying to hear
something.
“She’s one of us now,” he finally added, looking down at Kayla with
sorrow in his eyes. “I can’t imagine how horrible it must have been for her.”
Then he covered his mouth with one hand.
“Maybe they gave her the drug,” Kayla replied, taking his other
hand.
“She felt it, all of it. I know it in my heart,” he claimed as a
single tear slid down his cheek. “I would have never approached her if I knew
this was going to happen.”
“You can’t blame yourself for your brother and sister’s actions. The
most important thing to do now is find her, then
punish them,” she said immediately lowering her eyes.
“Don’t look away, Kayla. You hold your head up. This clan never knew
what a jewel it had, until now,” he said, raising her hand and kissing the back
of it. “I won’t forget your allegiance to me.”
Anthony went in and started calling all of his best enforcers,
including two that worked at the police station. One of them was the one that
spoke with Sky’s father. He told Anthony that the man wanted a full
investigation and had enough money to pull one off, but they explained to him
that she would have to be missing at least twenty four hours, before they would
be able to start. Anthony told that particular enforcer to stay at the station
and keep an eye on Sky’s father and check in if he came up with any new
information.
By the time Tory called Anthony back at the estate it was close to 9:00p.m . She put on a stellar performance over the phone,
telling Anthony everything just like Timothy had ordered and Kayla had
described. Anthony acted pleased, telling Tory that he was proud of her
decision, making her think that he fell for the plan that they had conjured. She
told him that Sky was somewhere at Oak Ridge, but didn’t know where. She also
mentioned the fact that Sky was about to change and he needed to hurry, because
she was in a great amount of pain. He clenched his teeth and bit his tongue,
thanking her as kindly as he could muster, then hung
up the phone.
“Call them in,” he told Kayla as he rubbed his temple.
    “Yes, sir.”
Kayla walked out and a few minutes later returned with fourteen men,
in all shapes and sizes. Anthony started by telling them what had gone on up to
that point, getting as many strange looks as he did grunts of anger. He
explained why he chose to change Sky, and not one
