    He

whispered.
    She
nodded with relief. “Yes, Ryan.”
    “But
it’s up to you, isn’t it? It’s up to me.”
    Her
mouth worked in silence for a moment, then her jaw clenched. “Yes, Ryan.”
    “That
was more mutinous than submissive, Jess,” he chided, and smacked her legs

    She
